My vote is for Anker cables. Cheap as chips and all mine have lasted since I bought them. The Apple ones always break within the first six month to a year.

As for Monoprice giving a "lifetime" warranty, it's significantly easier to swing by the Apple Store and replace it on the spot than package up your defective cable, mail it in and wait for its return.
As I said in my previous post, Monoprice doesn't ask for defective cables to be returned. (I suppose they might if you appear to be abusing their warranty.) It takes them about a day to process a warranty claim, and then the replacement goes out first class mail. Total time - about three days. I can wait three days rather than making an unnecessary trip to the Apple store.

And not everybody has easy access to an Apple store.

where should I buy the original lighting cable Best Buy or staples they both sell Apple products ?

Do you recommend I buy it from there ?

I purchased Apple care and apple HDMI cable from staples and had no problems at all.

I would buy it at the Apple Store but it's always packed if that's my only option I will get it there.

I could swear we talked about this before. You tried an Anker cable and it did not work for you and we agreed that it would be best to use the Apple one. If the Apple store is too busy, go to the Apple site and order from there.

If you are wanting to save money the 3rd party cables will save you money but you might have the same problems again.

I need a recommended lighting cable that will give me no error message and that it will last has to work with this case http://www.otterbox.com/en-us/iphone-7/commuter-series-case/apl4-iph16.html#tab5. For iPhone 7 which you recommend ?

Otterbox always makes sure that the Apple cable fits perfectly.

There no other cable that will fix the otter box series
