Hi, I was really looking forward to the iPhone mirroring function - but this functionality just seems so scrappy - great when it works but most of the time it fails to connect with one or several errors.

Is it me, or is there a knack to getting this setup and working reliably.

Thanks

Your signature implies you have iPhone 6+ device. iPhone mirroring doesn’t support your device. What’s up?

My signature is old, have a 16 now - whenever I try and connect I get this message - wifi and bluetooth are both on

I don't really get what iPhone mirroring is for. I can already text from the messages app in Mac OS. I can air drop images when I take them. I saw an Apple ad the other day with a girl texting through the screen sharing of her iPhone and I thought that was a longer route to take to do what you could already do. I am probably missing something because I just don't get it.

iPhone/iOS-specific apps. So, yes, messaging isn’t a great example as most are available on all platforms (e.g., Web app).

I thought you could run iPhone/iPad apps now on M chips?

It can also be useful for quicker, easier referencing:

Anyway… Indeed, it’s not going to be highly beneficial to most users.

probably network related, Reboot your router. Consider upgrading it if you're using you're still using the one from provider.
