seems unlikely, it isn't loads smaller.
also there's no camera icon :O

the screen isnt smaller, just space saved around the screen and at the top and bottom makes it overall slightly smaller
look at the gap above and below the home button and both pictures

edited in normal 3g pic for comparison lol

ZOMG it's an iPhone Nano.

No, you see, it's just a scaled down image of the iPhone. There WILL NOT be an iPhone Nano. Congratulations on learning how to use photoshop idiots.

i like how you edited in 'idiots' as an afterthought lol.

yes its obviously fake, but its not just scaled down, it does look a bit different as well :p
i guess they learned to copy and paste things around slightly too.

if it would be more believable if it was somewhere more likely
a lift? the corner of an office in a box?
or a chinese house of course.

The next thing that people are going to start talking about is the iPhone shuffle.

"Who will it dial next? No one knows!"

I see a repeat of when the 3G iPhone was soon to be release and people were posting pics of how it would look, and everyone would laugh and call it fake, then when the day came to introduce the 3G iPhone to the world, those supposedly fake pictures posted were actually the real pictures of it. :apple:

Despite the rumors firing up I still doubt there will be an iPhone nano. It's just such a random product and I don't see the point in having one. $199 gets you a full featured phone. This thing will have to be DIRT cheap to win me over.

Yeah, but there is no difference between the current iPhone 3G and the OP's picture. The only thing different is a couple icons missing.

All it would be is a nightmare froma development standpoint. Because I highly doubt that Apple would give a device with a smaller screen the same resolution.

No camera on that one, well at least not an icon for it. It probably won't have 3G, just Wi-Fi and Edge. Data plans could be cheaper. May not have GPS.

Look at the cellphone market. Most touchscreen phones are smaller than the iPhone.

--Samsung Instinct
--Samsung Eternity
--HTC Touch

...and so on.

For me, I wouldn't mind if it were still $199. I just want a cheaper rate plan, perhaps without the data requirement.

I'd be fine with not being able to check my email on an iPhone if it meant I could carry one device instead of two (I'm never without my cell phone and iPod) for the same monthly fee.

The whole point of the iPhone is to always be connected to the internet.

it is a bit different, everything is tighter together, but the screen and button sizes are still the same.
look at the gap around the screen, its slightly less than the current iphone
