Aren't constables from England? I think so, I remember hearing the term while watching the Beloved movie Mary Poppins.

Dude...bro alright do you live in the USA? At least here in Texas there are more constables than sherriffs, however you see them less often because they do less for society than lawn flamingos.

Oh sorry surely, can I call you surely? Anyway, surely, I'm on my iPhone while my MacBook Pro is on it's way so no laughs tonight, EVER! This topic is getting farther and farther from civilization...threads should have tree-forms, who knows what kind of talks each limb would evolve into...space toast...

You derailed the thread by correcting other people's grammar. That is sure to start the rightful flaming. Correcting somebody's English on a tech forum is out of place.

Anyway OP: To store that amount of stuff would require a larger memory capacity/STORAGE and hopefully next year's iPhone would be 32GB/64GB.

Oh my gward, you peepolez need to lay off. I help...and get in a good .gif now and then but I also help. Sheesh, this reminds me when I was trying to defibrillate that drowning victim, no gratitude for my attempts what-so-ever.

I wasn't correcting any grammar I was clarifying a term! >< I might as well pull out my defib. pads now and start telling the lifeguard to stand back and let me do what I believe I was trained to do at one time

Thank you. Nobody's clapping for your "term" help.

What makes you say that?

2007: 4GB, 8GB
2008: 16GB
2009: 32GB

I would think 2010 will be 48GB or 64GB, no?

Well,

2007: 4GB & 8GB (but those modules where already a year old)
2008: 1st Gen (16GB & 8GB) later 3G at 16GB and 32GB (same 16GB chip a year old)
2009: 16GB and 32GB
2010: very likely they keep 32GB as max since, the 64GB NAND flash chips doesn't even exist and we are well into Fall. Remember, by this time of the yea in 2008, Apple was testing the iPhone 3GS.

Not necessarily. Apple doesn't just automatically double the flash. They only do it if the price is right, and if their suppliers can produce enough of it.

BTW, I fixed your timeline for you.
