We Control a Sony bluray player. It works over wifi. Very clever. Very handy. Also add YouTube vids on iPhone into a private folder As its easier on iPhone and more pleasant an experince. then watch/scroll to them on the bluray player using the remote app. Also typing in searches the full keyboard pops up instead of the silly number pad like players included remote.

Also get disc info come up on iPhone screen and can goto the Internet to view. It's pretty cool.

It's handy because it works over wifi so through walls. It saved us a **** load of money as we were going to buy a harmony rf remote and our next tv we'll ensure is network capable.

Son also does it on his iPod touch.

We could control out home cinema amp but I haven't put a cable in to network it. Not lazy. Just setting input and volume is usually a one time thing when switching on so why bother.

What people are trying to say is, "how are you accomplishing this?" (this being all the things you control using your iPhone). I can make a thread that states "I love chocolate because it's delicious and inexpensive to make from scratch". With only that information, it would be a pretty worthless post. Agree?
