iPhone OS 3.0 - Beta 4 - Speculation

Truly disappointing...I suppose we should look at it this way, the longer it takes to get the next beta, the fewer bugs it'll have.

you don't have to do this near as often if you switch to something other than the number pad like "contacts" or "favorites" before you close the phone app

it makes an extra step but it beats having to reboot everytime you have to make a call

You're welcome...just something I noticed because on beta 2 when the number pad was messed up, that's how i fixed it

I still have to reboot sometimes, but not that often at all...its been 6 days since the last time i did
 
beta4 is not out????? OMFG!!!!

Going to commit suicide now....

Hopefully my family will be able to sue Apple.

They have done some releases on Friday's though. My bet would be for this Friday. I could be wrong though, but I doubt they will wait until next Tuesday, because Beta 3 would expire 2 days after that.
 
I'm pretty sure their servers let them update any day of the week and at any time. Just be patient. and does anyone actually know for sure that it expires in ten days? Just because it did last time doesn't mean it will this time.

What happens when they expire? I am still using Beta 2 and there has been nothing that denotes it as expired?
But I am thoroughly mad that the update hasn't happened. I skipped important things in order to click refresh yet no update!!!

beta2 still works for you? I thought they expire 10 days after the new beta is released?

And i don't think that is true there is only employees working for a certain time starting at 9AM to idk what close time is but I am sure they are closed for today. :mad:

Yeah it still works for me. What happens when they expire? It might be due to the fact that they are jailbroken though so idk.
