who you talking to at 2:10am for over 15min? :p

Hey, the 900 number he chooses to do business with is none of your business.

"Oh yeah baby, tell me how much you like beta phone software. New features?! I'm getting hot!"

Auto time zone:

When you travel to another country / state, the iphone now automatically sets the correct time zone.

Woo! A feature my Nokia had in 1999….

It already did this if you allowed it to get its time info from the cell towers.

This has always worked as the time is adjusted according to the network...

Reading the specs it looks like their are now 2 speakers on the bottom vs one speeker and one mike.

Doesnt sound like much but it could make it a lot louder.

I hate how quite my ringer is.

huh?
No, iPhone 4 still has 1 speaker and 1 mic on the bottom and 1 mic on the top of the phone.

No theres still only one speaker at the bottom and one for the earpiece. There's now one mic at the bottom and one on top for noise cancellation.

This is for the OS, not for the actual iPhone. And you're wrong. There is one speaker, one microphone and a noise cancellation microphone.

OP: Is it possible for you to compile all these features into one post?

edit: Already posted above, sorry.

- Notes now syncs perfectly over IMAP. Make a change on your Mac, it shows up instantly on your Notes app. Make a change in Notes, it shows up instantly on your Mac.
- You can set a default account for Notes creation in settings.
- Google Search shows search suggestions as you type.
- Calendars shows how many calendars you are looking at at the top.

Found a bug :)

There is a new feature where in the iPod you can create your own playlist. This works as expected - however if you hit shuffle and then plug it into an alpine in car deck it plays the first shuffled song and then it goes in order of the playlist (not shuffled).

ha ha ha very funny...

quick question... when you click the tracking number where does it take you??

It already did this if you allowed it to get its time info from the cell towers.

It only set the time, not the time zone. e.g. if you fly to NYC of course it sets your clock to Eastern time, but if you left from CA your calendars etc. are still set to the Pacific time zone. This can cause some alarm when you're looking at things in the calendar and flip out thinking you missed them (or you have 2 more hours than you actually do).

I've long wondered why they didn't use the location service to set the time zone. If this finding is true, it's now fixed.

maybe i just didn't notice it in OS3 but in settings>general theres an option to choose what spotlight will search through which i thought was quite nice :)
