Does this mean at Wi-Fi always stays on??? I will be so happy if this is true since I don't want data being sent over a capped 3G network.

I think the spotlight thing was there... Searching MMS was not for sure I just noticed that today good looking out.. the time zone thing is a no brainer

The OP should update his original post that way people entering the thread can see an updated list. It will prevent posters from posting duplicate features and it will make a nice list :D

Great post beamer. Here's the stuff I'm really excited about.

Game Center social network
Portrait orientation lock
Playlist creation on device
Birthday calendar (hopefully this syncs with facebook? And can we set reminders?)
Search with Web or Wikipedia
Include a Search bar
Failed SMS Notification

Edit from Outbox

Persistent Wi-Fi

That's only for IMAP Gmail I think. All other accounts still say "Delete." Gmail via Exchange says "Delete," as do my 2 other non-Gmail IMAP accounts.

Is there a way I can change that? It's really bugging my OCD.

Edit: Nevermind, figured it out.

I know iOS4 Doesn't have this, but what do you guys think about locking folders?

Example - if I'm going to be letting a friend use my iPhone for games etc and don't want them going through all my stuff, I can make a folder and put in my Messaging, Phone, Camera Roll,Photo Album, Facebook, etc and lock that folder with a passcode. Why that folder is locked, new texts will not pop up automatically, they'll go straight to the locked folder.

I think something like that would be pretty cool.

Here are some screenshots

With the new unified inbox you can now move emails received on one account to folders in another account.
e.g. My main account is my mobileme account (as it syncs everywhere and it stored 'in the cloud'), but I still receive important emails on my POP account that I want to file. I can now put, say a Bill from my ISP on my POP account into my 'Bills' folder on my mobileme.

Three questions about the features. Where is this custom dictionary? Why does tap tap+hold not bring up favorites (I can't even find the setting that allowed us to set the shortcut)? Does Game Center do anything besides sit at the login screen?

the double home button tap doesn't work because it's been replaced by enabling multitasking, i was kinda sad about this until i realised that i used the double tap to go to iPod and if you swipe left then you have all the iPod controls there for you :)

except a volume slider, which offers a more fine-grain control than the physical volume buttons.. i miss that.
