One thing that I thought was interesting was if you double click on the lock screen it used to just show you the iPod controls, assuming you have that setting enabled, but now with iOS4 it shows you the album art of whatever was last playing. Kinda handy for knowing what you played last.
Ahh please tell me I can still double click for iPod controls? I use that in my car all the time.....
Double click, swipe right on multitasking bar.
I've been using iOS4 for two months, this feature came about a month ago, you get used to it.
But in car be a little more difficult
I was referring to the lock screen, unless its the same for both. I'm not sure...?
Does this mean at Wi-Fi always stays on??? I will be so happy if this is true since I don't want data being sent over a capped 3G network.

Ah, yeah, that still is iPod controls![]()
I got one. When any app is accessing your location, a compass needle icon appears in the status bar.
Is anyone still able to find the custom dictionary in the gold master? It used to be under general settings > Keyboard > Edit User dictionary but for the life of me I can't find it now.
There's a new accessibility feature called Large Text. It enlarges text (obviously) in contacts, mail, messages and notes. Sizes range from 20pt to 56pt.
Really useful for me, I'm visually impaired.
yea it stays on and doesn't sleep. same goes for the ipod touch too. it used to go to sleep after the screen turns off.
It would be cool if someone found these 2 options..
- Custom SMS tones
- Remove stocks app
Am I the only one who can't find the custom user dictionary? Did Apple remove it in the golden master release?
I've looked under General>Keyboard and I don't see an option.
anybody heard if the SMS Tones are customizable?

Wait, so if you were listening to Pandora on WiFi and the screen went to sleep, it'd switch to 3G? I had no idea.
