What the heck happened to my post?

Are you referring to the size of the photo? If so.....When you first posted it, you used tags. The photo was too large as it was, so a moderator (kainjow) edited it, and inserted [img] tags instead. That way, the size of the photos in the thread all remain relatively similar in size.


So people: please use TIMG tags. :)

I love Kaua'i. Stayed in a beautiful condo right on the cliffs overlooking the ocean in Princeville last time I was there. Can't wait to go back. But we have a 1 year old now, so it'll be a while

Just out of curiosity, was your one year old conceived in Hawaii? I have 2 sets of friends that went there on vacation and came back pregnant. A co-worker of mine has been there twice ad came back pregnant both times. I got married out there but, seeing the trend was double and triple careful.

Haha... there's a saying that there's "something in the water" in Hawaii. But no, we did not conceive there. My wife and I are careful planner types. But a nephew of mine was conceived there, and it stunned his parents just how quickly it happened.

From a practical standpoint, I think lots of conceptions happen in Hawaii for two reasons: There's the obvious reason (you have lots of alone time with your wife on a beautiful island). The second reason is you're both a lot more relaxed than normal. Reproductive problems are often attributed to stress. But there's very little stress in Hawaii.

The BEST sandwich and bakery in Manhattan Beach, CA. We decided to bike there from Santa Monica today.

I would have taken a photo of my sandwich, but I was so focused on eating it, that I didn't think of taking a picture until I was finished.

Their giant oatmeal cookies with frosting on top are amazing.
