I'm not sure I've seen one change colors like this before.

I used the app TiltShiftGen to take that picture from my office on the 13th floor. Looks like a something out of a model building.

It's known as a bird of paradise flower (because it looks like a bird). I see them all the time around West Los Angeles, Santa Monica, etc.

Now if they'll just integrate the Geocaching.com app with the camera app on the iPhone all will be complete. I'm south of you in Fort Smith, I've gotten a few caches up in Eureka. I actually got the one in the lawn of the Crescent during a wedding, lol...

So true - wouldn't it be great to upload an image right from the phone - almost perfect. I know the cache you are talking about - I can't believe you got it during a wedding

I am working with the parks department to place a series of caches at each of the springs - some are so close I am having to do multi caches. It's going to be a very cool project.
