They recently held "Amsterdam Nights" in SOHO, NYC. Lemme tell ya, that was a lot of fun.

How'd you guys get such great quality pics from your iPhones? Mine all come out blurry. It makes me wonder if there is something wrong with the camera on my iPhone. Have any of those pics been retouched with Photoshop?

lol there are some really amazing pictures on this thread... I just feel like my camera sucks and everything turns out blurred or very grainy.. :/

i think it's all about being able to hold the phone still enough, and have enough light.
Darker shots will be wayyyy grainer due to exposure (Y)
so try shooting in lighter conditions for clear images.

I was getting blurry shots, and then i noticed a film had built up on the iPhone camera lense, so after a few days of randomly scratching it with my fingernail, it was clean, and my pictures were much nicer....

Here one of my favorite pictures I took with my iPhone at the 5th Ave NYC Apple Store...

I'm laughing checking my phone camera and scratching as hard as I can. :p

lol yeah there was some film on both my iPhone and my friends iPhone, and it seemed to fix some of the blurriness. It may not fix your problem, but I hope it does!

Took this pic of my Jeep a few weeks ago:

And, saw this at the grocery store; made me laugh (as though maybe they were pondering his fate):

Good ol' Sleezside, I mean Seaside, NJ. I live 5 min from that photo.

------------

I wish I could hold my hands steady enough to take better pictures. Everything I take comes out blurry because the slightest movement of ur hands ruins the picture.
seaside, i go and visit my cousins who have a house in south mantalooking(by point pleasant)

No photoshop at all.
Sometimes by taking 3 pictures of the samething you might get one good one(iPhone does have good white balance sometimes). Aslo try not to move the camera until the new preview screen is up.

No photoshop

I don't mess with photoshop much these days with the iphone pics. It's not really worth it anyway. I think the only thing you would get out of it would be a larger file size! I feel the camera takes a pretty good photo by itself. Of course composition is important. Try the rule of thirds if you are just starting out...
