Are the gaps between simulated? Because on one of those pics you can't see any distinction from one panel to the next. Just curious.

I'm assuming so because like you said, you don't see them during the other shots. Although when no movies are playing on the screen, you see gaps in the panels. I'm honestly not sure how it works.

One more tip is to remember the photo is taken when you RELEASE the camera-"button". Not when you press it. So it might be a lot easier for you to hit and hold the button, steady your hand and then release it to take the photo. It helped me quite a bit
