iPhone Photo-of-the-Day

Saw this little guy parked at a Home Depot last weekend. I was lucky to have my iPhone with me, so I snapped a pic of it. Priceless.

Don't get me wrong, MPG is great. I totally support people trying to save money, etc. but let's not forget our Physics 101 lessons.

With most things in life, you have to sacrifice something. In this case, increase in MPG is gained by a small engine and size/weight. Put this up against a T-bone or headend collision with the mirad of SUVs, Dump Trucks, and 18-Wheelers and I would have to bet you'd be toast.

I'll stay in my F-350 long-bed, pay $4.65 per gallon diesel and get 12 MPG to consider myself a bit safer in THE most dangerous activity that we all do on a daily basis, and that is drive.

(especially with all of us texting and iPhoning while we drive...)

I understand your point, but I was actually T-Boned in my driver's side door by an F-250 while driving my Corolla, and walked away with a tiny bump on the head and a sprained finger. The guy ran a red light and drove straight into me at 30+ MPH, which of course totaled the car, but the car did its job and protected me completely, even without side-impact airbags.

I went out and bought another Corolla (with side airbags) with the insurance money, and my next purchase within the next few months will be another Corolla. It offers great mileage and wonderful protection.

yeah, just because a car is small doesn't necessarily mean that its unsafe. I've seen a lot of compact/ sub compact cars w/ pretty rigid passenger compartments, and excellent crumple zones. The car may be totaled after the accident but the passengers usually walk away unharmed...even tho the car looks like its been murdered.

Yeah, I wish I had been in the frame of mind to take pictures, because my car was just...demolished. I was so sad because that was the first brand new car I ever bought, and I was really attached to it. I put all but 5 miles on that car, and it was perfect.

Anyway. She gave her life for a good cause--me.

lol actually it was her who didnt want her face in the web she didnt mind the boobs or the rest (clothed) lol. so i'll post as many as i can before she minds lol. anyway i'll try to c what i can get maybe for future posts. Btw those r some pretty sick pics damon. great color levels.

Im getting about 12-15 mpg from my 99 V6 honda accord... its not stock
