Thanks! I've been looking for more professional ringtones I can use without drawing attention to myself at work. Anyone have the T-Mobile ringer?

Agreed! love these ringtones. I want something 'different', something that EVERY iPhone doesn't come with (ex: Old Phone). I hate having to be 1 of 10 people that take their iPhones out because we all use Old Phone as the ringtone.... Also I dont like using some stupid song because if im at work and accidently forget to silence it and it rings.. well you know, its annoying and such. I really want some of the ringtones that came on my BlackBerry Pearl if anyone knows where to find those!

Looking forward to your next ring pack,

Thank you, Milani!

Are they loud enough? I've noticed that some are louder than others, so if requested I can raise the volume on some of the tones so they are more audible in loud environments.
No, at least for me, they are not loud enough.

Lol. I used "Old Phone", too. Thanks Milani for giving us more options. :D

I suspect that many people were disappointed with the iPhone's stock ring tones. I also suspect that many people don't enjoy using songs as ring tones (especially for people who work in offices, or who want to appear professional).

For that reason I developed a few ring tones for myself, but I've decided that I might as well create a Ring Pack, and share them with anyone who is interested. The original audio files were taken from websites under General Public License, and thereafer I shortened, extended, or otherwise edited the files, and converted them to .m4r filetype (that's an iTunes ringtone file).

Installation instructions:

Unzip the contents of the attached zipfile (which contains 4 ringtones and a readme text file), then simply drag and drop the m4r files into the left side of your iTunes library (where you have categories like Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc). Once you drop the files, they will automatically create a Ringtones category (if you didn't already have one).

Once they're in iTunes, simply plug in your iPhone, click on it in iTunes, and go to the Ringtones tab. Be sure that the Sync Ringtones box is checked, and then you can choose to sync all the ringtones or pick one or more.

Once your iPhone has synced the m4r files, simply go to Settings> Sounds> and click on Ringtone from the list, and choose your preferred file. You can also choose the volume of the ring, and either turn Vibrate on or off.

I hope everyone enjoys the Ring Pack! If I get good feedback there might be more to come in the future!

i wanted to make something like this if anyone knows how please reply or e-mail me (i think it shows my email)

No problem guys. I hope everyone is enjoying the Ring Pack. Keep an eye out for Ring Pack 2 sometime in the near future!

Jon, many thanks for the excellent ringtones. They are really good, but they do need more volume to be effective.

Any chance of releasing an updated pack with higher volume levels? :)

Thanks!

My husband will love this...

The first thing he asked when we got home is, "Where is the old-fashion phone ringtone?" :D

You Rock!

Just wanted to add my thanks too. I can't wait to get home and download the ringtones.
Keep up the good work!

Love the ringtones, thank you!!

A modest request.......

Would you try and put together a package of some loud alarms for everyones iphone alarm clock? I hate the ones on the phone now and could really use some decent sounding buzzers/alarms.

Google it for the answer, many websites have posted procedures/methods to make ringtonez for IPhone.

Thanks a lot for the ringtones.

Thanks a lot for these, I'll definitely be trying them on my iPhone. By listening on my computer so far I can tell they might not be quite loud enough, so louder is always better (unless it's so loud it gets speaker distortion of course)

I've been looking for a good ringtone that is pitched just right so it'll cut through loud noise, but also not be incredibly annoying at the same time... much harder to find than you would think

Thanks for the continued support guys! And yes, I might be able to throw a few extras in the next pack, such as some alarms, text messaging sounds, etc :D!

Any chance of releasing an updated pack with higher volume levels? :)

I'll definitely look at re-releasing this ring pack with increased volume versions of the ringers for those who really need it! Alternately I might just throw the loud versions in with the new Ring Pack - either way, you'll have your LOUD rings :p!

thank you . so if i transfer that sounds to ma iphone, then i can set it up as a ring tone??

Yes that's right! The instructions to setup a file as your iPhone's ring tone are in my original post as well. These files are formatted so they will appear as ring tones in iTunes, and will be recognized as ring tones by your iPhone as well. They'll show up in your ring tone list on your iPhone under the Custom category.
