iPhone Ring Packs

New 3GS

I looked at iFunbox but it is a windoze app. I use an iphone and an iMac!

anyone know of a iFunbox like app for imac?

I want to change the sms tones as they are too low in vlume to be heard!!


Other than that love the new phone!!
 
Sadly Apple doesn't let you change the SMS sounds. Your only option would be to jailbreak your iPhone.

Do you have the ringtone that they play in movie theaters like AMC????
(The one where it tells you to turn of your cell phone during the movie.)

As the first page states Ambient Rings is up and running, and we've got a really great multi-purpose business ringtone (with four variants) available right now. They're perfect for indoor (the office, meetings, etc) or outdoor environments (cafes, restaurants, or airports, for example). The Classic Ringtone Pack, as we're calling it, is free to download - just follow the link in my signature or the link on the first page.

And for those of you who want non-business ringtones, this thread more than caters to your needs as well! :D
 
that's a lot of ringtones you've got there... I see Bananaphone... lol used to be my ringtone a few years ago on my ghetto ass Verizon phone.
 
Custom ringtone question

I just recently bought an iphone 3gs 32g and im trying to take my custom ringtones and apply them to my iphone. I followed your guide but for some reason It wont let me convert the mp3 to m4r. Did apple put a stop to that on thier new 2010 iphones or is it something im doing wrong?:confused:

You have to convert the file to an M4A (audio) file (Convert to AAC Version), and then change the file extension from .m4a to .m4r (ringtone). Doing so will allow you to pull the file back into iTunes as a ringtone, and then upload it to your device.
 
Many thanks for that! my ringtones really needed an update.

Any updates on how these tones can be used for other applications EG New Text Message, Mail, etc?
 
also please submit all and any sms tones/system changable sounds you would like to be hosted and I will put together a zip file and combine it with my original post.

On the request side, is there any way you can get the ringtone they used on the 24 show at the CTU? It's kind of a normal ringtone, but very distinctive.
