iPhone Ring Packs

It doesn't sync because it is too long (more then 40 seconds) so for that one you need to manualy ssh it on for it to work

I just tested my "Price is Right" ringtone on my phone & it worked fine. That's strange that it's the only one that won't play. Maybe you should try downloading it again?

did you edit the ringtone? to make it smaller by any chance?
 
thanks for your hard work in putting this together. And thanks for hosting it. That is pretty cool. I am going to go home tonight and sync some of these bad boys.

Uberamd hosted these on his server so thanks to him we have direct links to the downloads instead of ads
 
If i have a mp3 song... how to i go about to make that a ringtone, what format does iTunes read, and how long can they be

Follow the guide (provided by me) on making your own ringtones

and it's .m4r

That was originaly asigned to my boss' ringtone then I decided to use the boss male suspense one.
 
I love the new ringtone packs, thanks a lot. The only problem I have is that it will only give me ring tones, I cannot change the text message or mail sounds. Is there a special place or button that I have to do? THanks <M>

You would have to jailbreak your iphone to do this.

follow the guide in my sig for your jailbreaking/ssh/smstone needs :)
 
I downloaded pack 1 and dragged them into my itunes ringtones just fine. I tried to do the same for pack 3 and i drag the .m4r files over and nothing happens. I even put them in the folder manually and they still don't show up in itunes. any ideas?

i usually just double click the .m4r files which then adds the ringtones to my itunes....then i sync up the iphone and it works.

import them into itunes first i find that will usualy eliminate all problems (usually not always though)
 
Another "Thank you!" shout out to you. Man, to think that I actually paid$1.98 for ringtones in the past! Luckily, I only paid for 5-6 ringtones.

hi,

1st of all, thanks a bunch for takin the time to compile that ringtone collection you shared via MacRumors. I'm sure it took a bit of work and I amongst others, appreciate it. 2nd, I have a ringtone request from my wife, that has proven a bit hard for me to find, and is quite specialized. She wants the doorbell chime, sound effect from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cartoon show (in mp3 is fine, she doesn't have an iPhone). I'd also appreciate it it you had/could find, the red alert sound from ST: TNG. much thanks and have a great day!
