hey....i was watching the iPhone guided tour and i realised i was able to get the iPhone ringtone...it sounds sweet.....you just highlight it in quicktime then go "trim to selection" and then export the sound....anyone else done this????

I've been using that ringtone since Jan. I did grab the audio from the video though as it was much cleaner than the version I had from MWSF.

I found it a while ago on some site as just (via Google) as "iPhone ringtone" and then I sent it to my phone via bluetooth.
btw, I did this about three weeks ago so it doesn't sound exactly how the actual ringtone does, but its very close.

You can also make ringtones for your iPhone in the new Garage Band from iLife 09. It's trippy. It's free. It's epic.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but why would you want the stock iPhone ring tone on any phone? It's a terrible ring tone!

If you have a Mac you can just create ringtones in GarageBand and import them directly into iTunes using the Share feature.
