Hi all, so I bought the new Iphone SE about 2 weeks ago, and well am wondering if there isn't something wrong with my battery.

So the problem is that it looses about 25% charge over 24 hours while not being used at all, which is an upgrade from when I just got it where it lost 50%+ charge over 24 hours(somehow got fixed by updating it). Yet when testing how long it would last playing a high definition YouTube video it easily lasted above 4.5 hours.

So my question is does anyone know if it is normal for a brand new phone to loose at around 25% charge over 24 hours when it is not being used at all?

I lose about 15% (when fully charged) to 20% (when below 50% remaining) of the battery over 24 hours with normal use (I am what most people consider a very light user). I have Background App Refresh turned off and some other minor battery saver options enabled/disabled. My phone can last four to five days without charging (I do turn it off at night though). Most people would consider that battery drain awful, but compared to my original SE that was barely lasting a day and a half before I replaced it, the battery life on the new SE has been wonderful IMHO.

Hello,

My brother owns the latest SE, and funny enough, he told me the same last week. I don't think you have anything to worry about, because the issue you are facing seems to be widespread and quite normal, and I think I would be agreed with most SE owners. Let us also not forget that battery life has been in this range for most iPhone models.

Happy to share my thoughts! Cheers!
