**No relation to seller at all**Just strictly curious**

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Apple-i...item25b95ad9c2&_trkparms=5374:Featured|5373:0

I've been wanting to pickup an SE for my grandmother and I found this while looking on eBay for something else. I'm assuming buying it from here might be a scam, and have no AppleCare.

Still though, how did this company get ahold of so many on launch day, and is able to ship them to buyers quicker then ordering right now from Apple would?

I purchase from eBay all the time. I will be saving nearly $60 on a 16GB SE so it's a no brainer for me. I picked one up and will return my Apple one.

It ships from salem new Hampshire. For one, that's a tax free state (happens to be about 15 minutes from me but that's irrelevant).

Could just be a mobile phone store; their positive rating are all cables and such. I have no idea how much a third party pays for a device like this, but I imagine they aren't making much on this.

I agree it's probably not worth the hassle. St the same time you're protected as a buyer. They've sold 650 units. To sell in volumes like that you also have to go through a few eBay vetting steps (admittedly not hard but eBay limits the amount a small/new store can list) No way this is a scam that works in the sellers favor.... Imagine hundreds of people reporting this as fraud.

On their history, they've sold iPads, iPhones, and other smartphones, brand new with positive feedback. Without a doubt, I'm sure a legit seller.

I buy from ebays daily deals, and recently picked up a 2015 MacBook Pro retina and MacBook Air with positive results. It's too bad there's no rose gold color SE here for me

There's no risk whatsoever. He is a top rated seller, you get the iphone cheaper and you avoid the taxes. I would Jump on it if I wanted the SE personally.

No risk here. Not as described file a case and return it. Someone locally is selling the 64gb sprint for $350. Wants to meet in a sprint store too.

Buying here you can't get apple care, pretty much forfeit any warranty probably

Since it is a new phone it would come with the standard AppleCare. You would also be able to add AppleCare+ once you received the iPhone by contacting Apple. I have purchased new phones from eBay before and have never had a problem.

Agree that it's most likely not a scam.

If you live in a state with a high sales tax, it's a $50+ savings over buying from Apple.

Tennessee, Arkansas, and Louisiana all at 9%, and I thought the Northeast was bad.

All Apple products have warranty. And since the SE is not even a week old it has a year of Apple warrant left. Does not matter where you buy it from.

For apple care plus I see they require a proof of purchase…
What happens if you bought a new phone like this one off eBay?
