Apple reinvented physics.

Seriously, I would like to know how it is possible. On the other hand, I can't see Apple make such a blunder...

The only way someone could say it does not rock, it to not press it hard enough to make it rock.

It's an easy user fix, put it in a case, or stick a little rubber foot on the opposite corner the same thickness as the camera protrusion.

iPad Pro Anti-Rock-Foot :)

Too expensive for me the price on the ipad, it's a consumption device yet costs more than a decent laptop now.
Guess will do refurb from apple ipad air 2 64gb i passed on before...

Completely the opposite for me.

Selling my Air 2 for the new 9.7" Pro. And I'm making that change solely for creation - it's the first device that will replace the paper notebooks I've carried into pretty much every meeting since I started working (scary to think how much paper that adds up to). iPad + Pencil + Notes Plus/OneNote = great little note taking device.

I keep thinking how cool this would've been when I started working. Every note I've ever taken in a searchable format. Same goes for University and College.

Your reaction to people who's options don't jive with yours is....appalling. Grow up. It's just a company who doesn't care about you. You have made the ignore list. Congrats.
I'm honored to be on your personal ignore list. You're right, Apple doesn't care about me (why should they?), but they care about not having two different types of USB ports on the same device. To mix USB-A and USB-C ports is a hilarious idea and someone in Asia will surely make such a notebook, but not Apple. If you insist on having your own opinion, it better be defensible.

Uhh, he probably cant hear you, as you're on his ignore list. Just sayin.

I ordered mine (64GB Rose Gold SE) at 12:10AM refreshing until the page went from hold to live, and have not received any additional emails from Apple. Clicking on the order continues to reflect that the order is being processed.
I hope that I haven't been knocked out or sent to the back of the line. My 4 broke last week, and I'd really like to get my new phone ASAP. Anyone else experiencing similar problems having ordered the SE?
I don't know how to gauge the number of comments to the popularity of this model, but others were commenting that there are normally many more comments with the release of a new phone.

Anyway, if there's no resolution by tomorrow, would it be a good idea to open a chat? Normally, I'd have already done that - but I'm worried that opening a chat might cause my order to be thrown into a longer hold? Thanks for any ideas/advice.

Is the iPhone SE worth upgrading from a 5S given they are the same screen size?

I feel I got lucky that my 4 didn't give out until last week - I didn't even care for the size of the 5s, but "smartphones" just keep getting bigger. I personally think it's ridiculous to see someone basically holding an iPad up to their ear.

The SE is 70% faster with better battery life than the 5s. But, if I owned a 5s, I'd just wait until Apple EOL'd it with a software update.

But, just to go off on a tangent, I seriously don't understand why people want these huge phones. Why not just set up your phone as a hotspot and run your computer or an iPad if you actually need a larger screen?

It's hard to believe that one man actually steered Apple - and now that he's dead, all they can seem to do is play catch up with the Android market.

Anyway, I hope to get some really good life out of my Steve Edition. And hopefully, some other commenters will be correct that the SE lacks a number because Apple might just stick with this model for a couple of years, or more. That just keeps it from being EOL'd hopefully.

I'm just glad that Apple didn't EOL me out of the smartphone market - by offering a smaller phone. Tim and Jony were obviously pissy about it given we're getting an old design. But that's a benefit, too, because they didn't make it thinner for no reason whatsoever, extending the battery life. I wish they'd both just quit and do something else "AMAZING!" with their lives.

As I've already related, I bought and returned a 6S - I just personally found it uncomfortable for slipping in my pocket.

For me, the purchase is very opportune. I doubt I'd upgrade a 5S for it, but I've been wishing to upgrade my 4 for 2 years now, hoping for a smaller iPhone. But, given Tim and Jony didn't even give this model their thinner, amazing design work-over, I'm guessing it's on at least a 2-year cycle. So, if you want a new phone that's not thinner and bigger, you could just be enjoying the SE for an extra year if you bought it now?

It seems fairly apparent that TimJony like their phones bigger and thinner - and given the complete lack of excitement or energy at the keynote, they were obviously harangued into offering a smaller iPhone by the uncool crowd of stockholders.

"Tsss... well they can just keep their old design, the old farts... tssss... Jony, you don't even have to go to this silly thing... No, you just stay right here and be your AMAZING super-creative self! You go GIRL!"

Just ordered my 128GB iPhone SE in space gray.

Oh wait, that was just a dream I had... the one where Apple realized that 64GB iPhones came out 5 years ago. One can dream anyway.
After reading the first line, I almost jump from my seat to grab the car key wanting to race to the Apple store to get mine like that spec.
5 seconds later, realized the store is already closed and planned to go there first thing tomorrow morning and continued reading the comment...
dang...

iPad Pro: Silver/128GB/LTE on the way!

Can't wait to replace my 5 year old Intel Core i7-2700K equipped PC
that can play The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on high settings with iPad Pro

Am I detecting sarcasm here?
I bet your set-up & it's equivalents represents 5% of 5+ year old PCs out there.

I ordered the sim free 16 gb gold. Does anyone know what LTE bands it has? I use T mobile and was curious if the sim free had band 12?

Yeah I don't mind that they used the old design. I hate that Apple is so hell bent on "thin and light". The new Macbook (non Pro or Air) is too thin. Plus there's no ports on it aside from USB-C. I have a rMBP 13" and wish it had more ports on it. Two USB ports is not enough. Having numerous adapters and dongles is not practical. But in terms of specs is the iPhone SE worth the upgrade from the 5S? I do like the bigger screen of the 6/6S but I don't like it's rounded edges which makes it slippery in the hand.

Then just buy the Air. Or don't buy anything at all.
$100 for A9X and the ability to use the Pencil is not that bad for some.
[doublepost=1458847688][/doublepost]

and if it had 4GB people would complain that iPad Pro doesn't have enough RAM compared to Surface/Samsung/Whatever

All of a sudden it's Apple to name this a "Pro" instead of an Air.. And Apple thinks their "Pro" tablets are great replacements for the PCs. So if you are going to make fun of somebody, it must be Apple not the people who expect things from what Apple claim to be..

why?

how is this any different than upgrading between ipad model years in the past? the only thing is you can no longer buy a 16gb version which actually goes to prove, in my opinion, how smart apple is to keep a 16gb version around. because in the optics of that, you'd only complain about storage not being enough, but happily buy a 64 gb version versus saying the price is too high.

32 gigs is a ripoff, they needed to leave the 64 gigs in place - and you're left with a fraction of that right out of the box
The current covers do not fit or are not recommended?
The iPad air 2 is fast enough
$100 for a pencil that how any people really need?

My comment only goes out to iPad Air 2 users.... In my opinion it's a waste of money.

these don't combat the argument i made that at worst, this is just another yearly upgrade,an ipad air 3 if you will. saying people who want to buy it are banned makes you very meh

Any idea where I can download the new iPhone SE wallpapers? Can`t find them inside iOS 9.3 for the iPhone 6S plus. Thx!
