Those numbers listed by Apple are ideal, perfect battery testing conditions. They do not represent real world usage. variation in screen brightness and cellular signal strength can have strong negative effects on your battery life.

My son streams videos on it and will get close to what he should be getting for those values. The real benefit over other phones is how quickly it charges due to having a significantly smaller max capacity.

Definitely. No more useless stress about my battery dying.... coming from a i5
28%
usage: 6hrs, 36min
stanby: 26 hrs, 44min

At 10% battery left, I'm in the 8-9 hour range. Is there something wrong with my phone or did Apple botch that number?

It depends on the apps you use. Go to Settings > Battery, hit the "clock" icon, and show us screen shots of your usage.

I get around 10hrs of usage on full charge. Very happy with it considering my Continuous Glucose Sensor is communicating directly with my iPhone 100% of the time.

I got my SE yesterday and i am a little bit disappointed, i got 1%/hour drain while i sleep. So from 70% to 65% for 5hours sleep :( and it is a samsung chip, yeah it sucks. But only a little yellow screen at top screen, no rattle etc. i will post later my stats.

Don't feel despair. The 1st day usage is not an accurate estimate of its full potential for battery performance. On my day 1, I felt it slightly edged out my 2+ yr old 5s. On Day 2, it is a different beast.

Day 2 usage:
90 mins of Waze(GPS)
30 mins of music streaming
40 mins of safari browsing,
20 mins of phone call
95% on Mobile data, 5% Wifi
Pebble watch connected all day long with GPS weather checking every 30 mins.

Hope it helps.

I just bought my SE today, so once I've had a full day with it, I'll post mine.

I will say this though: when I bought it from the Apple Store, it had 94% charge. I did a TON, used about 4 1/2 hours and it was at 43% when I plugged in to do a backup.

I loved my 6, but this phone is amazing.

Edit: here's my current battery status after a pretty full day of usage.

Battery is awesome compared to my previous Android phone (Xiaomi Mi2S with 3k battery ).
Who cares that I have Samsung's CPU (M69uAP) and a bit yellow screen at full brightness (best for eyes) ;)

I got my iPhone SE, which replaced my 4s, about 3 weeks ago. This is on rather light usage:

I had about 1.1 hours of screen time for YouTube over wifi.

In the first charge, let the battery die completely. And recharge it to 100%. A
Second charge- Charge when the battery hits 20%
Disable motion settings
Background app refresh too
[doublepost=1466534783][/doublepost]How is my SE battery life after the first charge?

Hello everyone,

To start, I'm really impressed by yours screenshot !
I've an iPhone SE 64Gb storage but I don't have screen on time like yours.
I can read on French and American forum that iPhone SE users are satisfied about iPhone SE's autonomy but I find that mine is very bad, compare to your.
I believed I never had more than 5 hours SOT, and I use mainly for safari, iMessage, whatsapp. So I really don't understand.
And my phone is working on iOS 9.3.2.
If someone knows more about it and can tell it to me it would be kind.
(Sorry for mistakes, English isn't my native language) thanks to have read me :).

You should contact Apple Center. It's not normal to have only 5h usage time. My the worst was 6h LTE , GPS and wifi at home where I switch to 2G due to bad network signal.
9.3.3 will give longer battery time ;)

I love the battery life on my SE. Work days, I wake up at 7 am and put my phone on lower power mode until I got off work at 5pm. By that point, i usually have around 80% battery life and don't have to worry about having to charge it, if I decide to go out at night. Non work days, I leave it running like normal and don't need to charge it until 8 or 9 pm. At that point, I just leave it be oil bed time.

Battery life is still pretty great running iOS 10 PB1, from my experience. I'm losing about 10% an hour, depending on usage type. If I'm heavier on the usage, it may be a bit more.
