it was great when I had it, awesome battery life. But coming from the 6s versions I noticed the screen wasnt as bright. So I went to a regular 6s. good compromise for me in screen size after having a plus model and the SE

Since it didn't happen when the 7 was released I would say no, but there is a chance that Apple could tweak the storage tiers in the spring about a year after its initial release.
That's the most likely. Or just a refresh with that option at that point, or later in the fall. For me, 64 means giving up the camera at least for videos. 64 limit is the typical limit to push you up to a 6s at least, but in this case, is not the same form factor (as it happens with ipads or macs). Would love a 128 later this year, but I assume it's a fantasy.

Anyone have experience with it on ios 10? reading some reviews that it has slowed it down considerably and battery life took a hit.

I moved from IPhone 5s to SE, instead of 6s or 7, because I like the smaller size and headphone jack (male with small hands, and always listen and charge at the same time). Yes, it runs IOS 10 fine. However, as I compare my experience with 5s to SE I find that it is basically the same phone. I was expecting a bump in performance from A7 to A9 and 2X RAM, but, hmm, not really. It feels the same. Nothing works faster as far as I can tell. Pages and apps reload just as often as they did on my old phone. I still feel I made absolutely the right decision to go to SE. Very happy. But I think they shoehorned the A9 into the 5s body and display, and I don't think that hardware combination is optimized. Really all it is is a 5s, but that's a great thing.

May be more iOS 10 sadly than anything

My tweaked out SE on 9.3.3 is butter

Sometimes I question why I have two iPhones (7P also) but flexibility of both extremes big and small is fun.

And one is jail broken for now until the 7P can be too

Might not update my SE even when 10 jailbreak hits

Hello :)
Am planning to buy the SE (switching from Android and it fits my budget currently) and I dont mind the small screen is it a good choice?
appreciate your opinions folks.

I love my SE, moved from a Note 4. It's a great little computer.

Well done! It's a perfect iPhone. My wife has the rose gold one and I love it. The camera and video camera at 60fps 1080p are really great! Along with the 7, the nicest iPhones for a while!
Best Ive design to date.
