I was in the opposite position. I wanted rose gold and our local store had every color but rose gold. So I took space grey and I'm glad I did. On a small phone, the black bezels with the screen present a unified look that suits the size well. I end up using opaque cases anyway. I hope you get your space grey soon. I can't believe they are still so hard to get in store. This is ridiculous.
I'm really starting to want an SE for some reason. I love big screens, but something about the small, super powerful device draws me in. Plus, this phone outperforms the 6s and 6s+ in benchmarks and it gets better battery life then my current 6, which would be very welcome. With the $499 (64 GB) price, I'm very tempted by this phone. I just don't know if I could live with a 4" display.

Ordered 64GB space gray three weeks ago, still no sign of it. Either Apple is selling hundteds of millions of these, or they are artificislly keeping production low. It's a bit worrying.

I imagine the 4" display really isn't that much smaller (than the 4.7") for many uses.
Text remains the same size, just more of it is on the screen for the 4.7".
If I didn't have the 6s, I would have jumped to this.
The only real reason why I bought the 4.7" was because it was the first model to have 2gb ram. If the SE had come out last Oct, I would definitely have considered it.
Having an extra 3 hrs battery life is pretty compelling.

That's weird. Don't they give you a date when you order it??? What does the online status say?
Most likely they underestimated the number of people wanting the 64GB model and didn't plan accordingly. The 16GB model is available in any color everywhere where I live.
16GB is somewhat available, but the common colors in 64 and 128GB are not available anywhere in Switzerland with no handle on a possible ship date. It's scandalous. There are reports of people who ordered in April and still haven't received theirs. Not seen one in the wild yet either. All the retailers are cautioning customers that 64GB+ orders coukd take weeks to fill. This is definitely not the Apple I know.
My store finally got Space Gray 64GB models yesterday! Planned to wake up early and finally grab one and then overnight my youngest child got sick. So the trip to the Apple Store turned into the trip to the doctors office.

I doubt that people who ordered in April from Apple haven't got theirs yet.
And there's no 128gb model either.
Hehe. I know some Europeans (particularly in Italy where I am) make a way to order from your country via relatives (or driving to your stores) because gadgets (and everything in general) cost less. I guess it makes the competition even tougher.
Party pooper. We were almost convincing people that the SE is a huge success, but you had to ruin it.
At regular retail? The best buys in my area have them for $50 above retail, just like target.
Happy for those finally getting their phones. Hopefully I get one soon but I doubt it. It took 2 months for my store to get a restock of 64GB Space Gray. That means I will probably have to wait until August to see them again and hopefully nobody in my family gets sick or hurt this time.
