Got the gold/white 16 to accommodate my space grey 64 6s plus on 9.0.2 jailbroken

Wanted to test iOS 10 beta, turns out I really like and sorta miss the 4" form, I didnt think I would like It nearly as much as I have-- profound for me,

The screen you can sorta adjust to/have to, contrast wise and size (this part feels great) but in direct sunlight compared to my phablet its vastly vastly inferior, and honestly resolution aside screen quality is infinitely better on the phablet and more appealing looking, I'm a screen person but for functionality and its invisibility, ill go for it. And taking calls on it after almost 2 years with the 5.5", it feels like I'm in zoolander holding the microscopic phone. I can't believe it, but the phablet feels extreme too, like holding a huge bar of soap up to my face which is what I'm used to, but now everything feels weird and its kinda neat to feel weird about devices that have been engrained in my head already

Anyways a9 and 2gb in a one hand device feels amazing, having this much compute in a tiny little package, its unrivaled. With 7 going similar to 6/6+ design but without antenna lines or headphone jack and a recessed, what I would just say is flush camera, not thrilled for a third slightly modified serving honestly for my least enthusiastic design ever

The battery life and power of this phone are great its a shrunk 6s plus battery life wise,

It made me realize I like having a phone that disappears in my pocket, that I dont take out to cross my legs or by default put on the table out of necessity and in turn habit as well

Dont know where I'm going with this, except 4" and 5.5" in the arsenal one stock bleeding edge one jailbroken and config'd to hell, is a power combo,

Imo, and its just my opinion, the 4.7" current 6 factor satisfies neither and is an unfulfilling compromise of immersiveness and one handed ness, right on the fence between the two. At least if I'm going awkward, I want that HUGE screen to make it worth the compromise. Thats why I sold my 6 one month after release and went 6+ and subsequently 6s+. That and battery and OIS/video OIS

The 6/6+ really does look protoype-y by comparison of design, come on Apple.
It commands being thrown in a case, without guilt, whereas 5/5s/SE you get a little sad to put in a case, however cool that case may be, minimal, etc. It takes away from a pristine design, whereas 6 is just a design, I grew tired of early on, and really like 5.5" because of iOS, jailbreak, good parts in it but the design, meh!

And love the flush nearly identical camera (even though it has no OIS for low light photography or video or longer exposure shots needed handheld)
$399 is a pill I can swallow, to have dual devices until something exciting comes along depending on what I want to do for the day and how immersed or not immersed I want to be in content, and how hand-able it would suit my needs,

Going SE to 12.9" (back and forth) is so much fun every friggin time haha

Also feels nice to use the phone in bed hovering over my head, and not worry about the phablet falling down on my face from questionable support, perhaps extreme but a real concern when half asleep

Dual domain pixels is a screen technology, the camera is the same as the 6s and 6s+ (sans OIS).

^ thanks for clarifying :D

Long day, I knew something was off. The screen definitely isn't great like my 6s+ but its a compromise, all things appear to be

And good to know minus OIS its the same, thats another point I was going to bring up

SIM swapping jailbroken 6s+ and SE, its great to seriously not be able to tell from my iPad Pro/rMB/6s+ (wouldn't say on SE because the screen is inferior enough, I dont think I can see how great they are until using on other devices) where I'm looking at the pictures whether it came from the tiny one or the big one :D

wish i could use mine, which is sitting in a shelf until a damn jailbreak is released or I get bored and sell it :p

Why not just use it in the interim or load iOS 10 beta on it?

Came with 9.3.x, which is still being signed so I'd do it better than boring stock iOS 9, even with beta bugs and all and as a second primary phone but not my sole one,

Really regretting Macos sierra on separate note, buggy as heck and locked up my rMB twice in 3 days, I created separate partition but it overrode el cap and I dont want to reload it and the apps, etc. Made a mistake but intended to have separate boot, paying the price. Good thing I mostly just browse on my computer and aren't reliant on a job for it

OP, do you find yourself using one phone more than the other?

I recently acquired a SE to play around with to compliment my 6s, and I've found that I've been using the SE more recently (I'm sure that may have to do with the new factor). But considering the SE is only 16GB, I only installed the essential apps whereas I have a ton of apps installed on my 6s since it's 64GB.

But boy, do I sure love just throwing the SE in my pocket and forgetting about it. Usually when I go out with the 6s, I remove it from my pocket at a restaurant and place it on the table. Not that it's a drastic difference going from a 4.7" to a 4" but I sure do love the pocketability of the SE.

I prefer Black.

Note. This is NOT a case. It is not a bumper or a skin. Neucase specializes in replacing the casing of your iPhone with a casing in the colors of your choosing.

You get your old casing back (for warranty purposes). $250 or so. Neucase is a shop in Los Angeles.

One of the reasons I never try OS X on my Mac. My whole life revolves around macs.

That looks incredible! Too bad I won't fork over $250 for something that gets tucked in a case all too often

And agreed, slate is not space grey,

I went white/gold on my SE because I wanted to switch it up/ be able to spot the little bugger on my couch or bed easily without fumbling around (sometimes even my phablet space grey is invisible)

My wife has the Rose Gold 6s and she had the Gold 6 before that and the white 5.

We don't share the same color preferences, LOL! ;)

I admit though, her white iPhone 5 with the silver trim does look nice.

I know I do. I normally leave my Galaxy S7 Edge home with my Verizon SIM in it and take my iPhone SE out with RingPlus when I'm going places I know have Sprint service and don't really use my phone that much anyway, like work.

There's something about just having a tiny phone for mostly basic things that almost disappears in my pocket and is so easy to use with one hand.
