With all the talk of the 7 and 7+ having two different modems and the speed test article on the front page between them, what modem does the SE have? Does the sim-free unlocked model have the qualcom chip or the intel chip?

So it should work just like the v and s iPhone 7 model?

It should work as good as the 6/6s but I am not sure if as good as the QC model in v & s iphone 7 because there is a chance iphone 7 received an updated model of the modem with higher speeds etc.

6/6s modem performance is better than the intel model in iphone 7.

So you should be good to go.

Thanks for the info. I just read on everymac.com that the SE model 1662 is the one for the US.

It's the Qualcomm one found in the 6S
