The wrong comparison is being made here. The 6s has 7000 grade aluminum.

The real bend comparison should be between the 5s and the SE. The SE is not in the same league as the 6 series.

Its only a comparison if you want the stronger phone without a case 😉

???

I guess this makes some sort of sense if you use or have used cases? 😉

I have "weaker" phones and have used "weaker" phones without cases so I wouldn't know I guess. 😀

Actually, no Android blog I visit has said a single thing about the iPhone SE other than when it was announced. There are a lot better things in the Android space to write articles on than something as petty as that.

that's because any educated android owner knows this iPhone SE is a joke, lol. Seriously, this iPhone SE needs to die like the 5C. Sweet it under the rug asap

I checked it out at the Apple Store the other day. I do like the idea of a smaller flagship phone, but it looked and felt so ancient to me. When compared next to the 6S, it was a night and day difference, the SE looked like a phone that was many years older than the 6S (washed out display, yellow tinted display, larger bezels, hard corners making it uncomfortable to swipe from the edge of the phone, thick, cramped icons, etc. It really did make the 6S look like a futuristic phone in comparison.

I am not sure if it is a flop, they are not very easy to get hold of in the UK. If you order a space grey 64gb today it delivers 19-22nd of April, thats quite a long way off.

Even if they don't sell very well it makes no difference too me, i love mine it's the best phone i have ever owned.

What is it with members lately who have been here since 2011 and posting this hate?

This thread is spam from a 2011 member if you don't like the SE just move on it's so easy to do.

Except it's not a "flagship phone," nor is the SE intended to be. It's to keep people interested who insist on having a smaller phone than the 6S or 6S Plus, the current "flagship" model.

Apple currently sells three models of phones. All of them cannot be "flagships."

I didn't say the SE was a flagship, I said I like the idea of a small flagship phone. All three models could be considered flagships if the iPhone 7 mini, 7, and 7+ had the same internals and the only difference was the screen size.

Being the owner of an iPhone 5 I see this as a big improvement. Sure, I boycotted the 5s because I don't use the 'S' upgrade path and I don't care for Space Gray, but the SE is a nice upgrade to those still on the 4s, 5 and 5s.

IMO

I would just say based on marketing terms: Flagship = most expensive product in the line. Also one with most features (useless or not).

IPhone 5 series has best design! I love it but if you do compare it to an iPHone 6S body and display you can't help but notice it's outdated. Slimmer does make a difference but at the expense of battery life is hell no. I just want iPhone 7 to reduce the ginormous bezels.

Apple literally crammed some random new components into a 5S ( 3 year old phone ). Boggles the mind people will still buy this thing.

Looks like it might do worse than the 5C. What next for Apple? They have filled the market with too many products like Samsung.

Apple Watch has not been a major seller. SE in an old case was a bad idea. The iPod line is finished.

I believe IPhone sales will do well for some years yet however I fear for iPad sales.

Apple seem to be holding features off smaller phones or tablets or the IPad Pro larger one with older cameras than the new one.

Seems Apple are stuck for ideas right now. I know some will say the SE is great for them but let's be honest it's going to flop and if it sells less than the 5S today then it's definitely flopped.
Boy, you really have your panties in a bunch over Apple's latest products, don't you? You've started nearly half a dozen thread since then to rant about it. Do you find it therapeutic or are you just looking to get s rise out of everyone? Why are you here?

But that's the problem. 😀

People are comparing the SE to the 6 series. It's not a fair comparison. I do not believe Apple meant the SE to be any kind of an upgrade or alternative to the 6 series or as an iPhone mini or some such. They are simply providing an upgrade path to those still using older iPhones.

And for those hanging on to those older phones because they don't want a bigger phone this is an upgrade. If those people want some of the other features that the 6 series offers then they have a choice to make.

As to thinness and battery life, I could not agree with you more! When the phone is so thin that it cannot have the camera lens sit flush and they have to put a smaller battery in because 3D Touch takes up more space then it's too thin.
