I entered my PUK code correctly twice, and now have only one attempt remaining. It got locked somehow after restarting my iPhone. The PUK code provided by the AT&T website doesn't seem to be working, so if I try it again, this SIM will be locked permanently. I really am starting to get tired of carrier BS... iPod Touch+Skype/Google Voice+MiFi is starting to look pretty damn nice...

Can't call AT&T. My iPhone is locked, and I don't have a landline.

Got a friend? Neighbor? Computer? Phone at work? Payphone?

I bet if you really apply yourself to the problem, you can come up with something that works.

Thanks. What can I say, I don't get treated too well on these forums. ;)

Hey now, just because I pointed out pretty obvious answers doesn't mean that I'm not being helpful. Clearly, a little nudge towards the obvious was needed.

You were being helpful, but you can off as an [insert bannable word here].

Pro-tip: You can use Skype to call 1-800 numbers free of charge, so if you have Skype installed and a microphone you can call ATT support for free.

You can call directly from Gmail - for free. It works well. I even called Bestbuy Canada

or just take it to an att store and have them try. the worst thing that will happen is they just give you a new sim card.

Ah good. That's exactly what I intended! :D

Seriously though, a little common sense is a good thing to have.

You had no idea what else was going on at the time, I was slightly panicked actually. Common sense is good, but thinking outside the box is better. ;)

Forgot about that... Same applies if you have skype installed on your computer.

So anyway, how did it turn out OP?
