what did you use to unlock ? independance 1.1.1 or another method ?
To activate? Yep, independance 1.1.1:-
-Restored completely to factory settings (1.0.2) using itunes, then quit itunes before phone restarted
-Took AT&T SIM out, then opened iTunes again to "pair" before using independance
-Put AT&T SIM back in, used independance to jailbreak, activate, and install SFTP/SSH
-Removed SIM
-Installed Installer.app using AppTap
-Set up Wifi inc. lock to "never"
-Installed Community Sources and BSD Subsystem using Installer.app
-Made sure still jailbroken after this
-Used Fugu to SFTP the 4 files into the iPhone's /usr/bin dir, then created /usr/local/etc and put the minicom.dfl in there
-Used Terminal to ssh into the iPhone, then run the iUnlock/commcenter/minicom stuff, which worked fine. Only error I got in the whole thing was after the first minicom command ("AT ...00000000" etc.) it returned "ERROR" rather than "OK" which it was meant to. I tried again as per the instructions (restarted minicom and ran bbupdater -v again [bbupdater returned ok result], but got the same error after the first minicom command, however after the second minicom command it returned "CLCK=O..OK" which is what it should do.
-Quit everything and ran the last "commcenter" command and then put O2 SIM in phone and it works fine. Just whenever I turn my phone off/on it loses it's unlock!
