iPhone stolen in Houston Airport, thief added me on facebook. WTF?

Call HPD & report it.

Call Channel 2 & MyFoxNews and see if they'll run her story as a "dumbest criminals" piece.
 
The guy would be a total idiot for posting the girl's Facebook link and anyone asking him to isn't too clever either. Believe his story or don't but for him to put up those links would not be too smart.
 
Well I creeped a little bit and went through his facebook friends. I couldn't find anyone from Houston and the ones from Texas were males... So I don't really know.

Just because she added him as a friend doesn't mean he approved the request. In which case, she wouldn't show up in his friends list.

Doesn't facebook do friend recommendations based partially on the people who view your profile?

If it happened in an airport, who's to say she wasn't getting on a plane and going back to wherever she's from?

That being said I too 'creeped' his profile*, and there is one girl whose profile picture looks, as the OP kindly put it, like a trashy Amy Winehouse - but her wall isn't visible to non-friends.

Depending on her privacy settings he may have had to accept the request to see any of the stuff he's describing.

There is no grand theft in Texas. You watch too much tv. It is felony theft.
Also, there has to be proof that she stole the phone, and did not simply find it on a barstool.

For the same reason old lonely people often frequently schedule health/dental care appointments even when they don't need to... for the attention.

hahaha pwned! nice screenshot buddy. I'd get all her info and make sure you have the receipt and serial # of your phone and report it to police. good luck!
