The tool definitely has a place, it wouldn't be made if it didn't. One of the biggest uses I would say is for handwriting Chinese. So 1.3 billion sales later people might start understanding its place.
I must have OCD as well because I wipe my iPhone clean of smudges probably 10-15 times a day... Basically every time I'm done using it I put it to sleep and wipe it off with my shirt until there aren't any smudges. I just thought that was normal...
You think your bad!? I wipe mine down with rubbing alcohol every day! Same with my keyboard, mouse, iMac, iBook, and TV. I got it bad.
@dejo- your obscene
Don
Ok, yeah, that's probably a more severe case but I'm sure rubbing it down after every single usage is still a little OCD. Good on ya for keeping the rubbing alcohol businesses alive![]()
For fifteen buck I will stick with the index, besides I won't lose it.![]()
Me too. LOL Of course, I *know* I have OCD and take prozac for it.I must have OCD as well because I wipe my iPhone clean of smudges probably 10-15 times a day... WTH? Did they not listen to what Steve Jobs said about styluses when he first introduced the iPhone to the world?

Just because one man has an opinion on a stylus doesn't make it universally correct.
I've never understood this. Don't these people realize it is impossible to hit two keys at once no matter how hard you try? I just typed a sentence using the entire flat part of my thumbs. Yeah it was harder than normal but if you fingertips are as fat as my entire thumb then I am guessing you are used to working with them by now...
That's not really his argument - he's talking about the iPhone thinking you want "s" instead of maybe "d" or "a" and the larger your finger the higher the likelihood that you won't hit it *exactly* where you should. That's where the smart dictionary comes in handy I think. I type all my stuff using two thumbs and I undoubtedly make plenty of mistake but it fixes virtually of them for me.
There were no 'drawing' applications for the iPhone when he said that. Now there are several.
Clearly many people here have not used them, or they wouldn't be acting so confused as to why this product exists.
