99% sure, yes. i'm not at home either so i can't confirm, but i have sync'd since editing a playlist and my changes are still there on my iPhone.

Whoa... You can edit the playlist, I didn't catch. Will it then sync back to iTunes with the edit??? My library's at home, can't test.

yeah you can not only edit playlists but you can also create new playlist and name them whatever you like. A great improvement over the on-the-go playlists.

I knew my iPhone could do this but it was one of those "Oh yeah!" moments.

Had a "friend" on Facebook go nuts on a post. I texted someone to see if they had seen it as I just knew the post would be deleted. They hadn't seen it and they couldn't get to a computer (no smartphone) to check it. Since the iPhone can't copy and paste posts on Facebook my solution was to take a snapshot of the wall post and then just send the pic. He saw the pic and of course by the time it was sent the wall post had in fact been deleted. Snapshot saved the day!

I was using Urbanspoon yesterday, and I discovered the "Scope" feature. It turns your camera on and recognizes where you are. It instantly recognizes where you are and shows a grid-like look, where when you move your phone left and right, it shows places to eat and the popular percentage of the place.

I was amazed.

Next time when u r talking through Bluetooth in your car, try playing a song and see what happens:)

you can kill the apps that are running in multitasking by holding them until they shake and then clicking the delete button.

i never knew that but apple will have to create a kill all button

I believe in an earlier OS4 beta, they had a kill all feature. They removed it though, not sure why.

That's not a new feature....... if what you mean is that the song plays, you can hear it, but the other person on the phone cannot.

I never knew that. When a call comes in it always pauses then resumes it- I suppose I need to override the pause on iPhone.

I did also try to use recording while on a call with BT, it's a no go.

Yes, when you make a call or one comes in, the song does pause. But, during the call, you can press play, and the song will start playing.

I probably just missed the announcement on this as I wouldn't believe it hadn't actually alerady been advertised, but if you hold the home button down, you get to a voice command screen

Which will guess at what you are trying to say if you give it commands it does not recognize (I don't know why they just don't have it say, "command not recognized."). It seems to really like trying to call Papa John's when it doesn't comprehend the command *giggle*.

Edit: Apparently I'm a dork. I didn't realize iphone had voice command at all at any point.

Another one I just noticed. When you download iBooks, they give you the original long version of Winnie the Pooh for free!

I am not that big of a book reader but I will read this since I have never read the full Winnie the Pooh and because it was free. Thanks :apple:!

Because Apple doesn't believe it's necessary to kill apps at all.

I can't recreate that. When I double click while awake, I get the multitask, when asleep I get just the controls???

Not awake, while at the "slide to unlock" screen. If you had music playing before, the song you had stopped shows up on the lock screen.

Yep, missed that I had to have a song previously in the background to activate.

Also, (and I don't know if this is new) If you are on a webpage, and need to click a link, you can hold it down for options on how you want to handle the link.

Open page
Copy link
etc...
Caught that by accident today.

Does the audio feedback for voice control work if you have a stereo connected another way, say USB, instead of bluetooth?

I currently have a FM transmitter, but the voice control audio feedback still only goes through the iphone's speakers instead of the car's.

So now, finally, i can just hold the home button- keep my eye on the road- and just say call .... and bam, woman says multiple numbers, I speak mobile... Calling mobile!!!

You know that you can just say "Call John Smith Mobile" and it will call their mobile phone instead of waiting for the woman to give you options.

I was using FaceTime to visit a friend in another state. He was curious about my new apt. He suggested switching to the rear facing camera during the video tour. I was was pleasantly surprised with that option. Then after the tour I switched back to the front facing camera. Nice.

That will be huge with Real Estate if FaceTime gets bigger, just think of all the things we can do when it goes 3G or 4G, it will really cool.

I noticed you can swipe over emails to delete them versus hitting the edit button. Love that!
