iPhone UK - Sitting at home waiting for delivery

Typical though isnt it really, we are all sat in eagerly waiting.

I would put money on if we went out early this morning they would of tried to deliver it!!:mad:

I'm in the same boat. (Vauxhall Service Centre)

Other people taking delivery from this centre have had "Out for Delivery" after this "Security Check" statement, so its not looking good. :(
 
Still, waiting here does beat waiting in a store. Friends tell me O2 is being an absolute pig - only a few phones an hour are actually leaving Apple stores, if that. At least at the Apple stores they're being very generous with refreshments, or so I'm told.
 
Just took delivery of what I suspect to be my neighbours iphone...why oh why would his come by DHL and not mine? I got so excited when my buzzer went and I saw a DHL van outside! Do you think I could just open his and give him mine(when it eventually arrives)....
 
I might head off to an Apple store for some refreshments. Maybe by the time I get back DHL will have wheeled their flintstone van to my house. Srsly, 4.5 hours to travel 15 miles.

Well at least it's out of O2s incompetant hands!!! As long as it arrives today, I don't care!!

Done it and.....no iPhone :(

Thought I heard my door knocking when out the back. Probably was a crazy sight to see me running through the garden chucking laundry everywhere. lol

No one at the door either. Damn brain is making stuff up now!

I know this doesn't help but if you are so close they will do you on the way out or on the way back....

Looks like it might be on the way back :(
 
i never had the iphone 2g so i dont know how to activate.
iv taken out a new contract so when i eventually get the phooone and connect to itunes what info will i have to put in because all i have from CPW is a tracker number :S

Im thinking the same the depot's about 2miles from my place, could drop it in on the way back! :(

iTunes takes you through the process. Its dead simple.
 
took five mins to set up, the black 16g is beautiful, chrome buttons against the black - really sexy. Just syncing all music etc. then off for the weekend. Made first call and it works a treat. Enjoy everyone else - well worth the wait.

Actually Just had the delivery driver from DHL depot in Norwich call me to ask what time I was gonna be in so he can make sure I get my Iphone today.

Think I might give him a hug when he gets here :D
