Apple can afford to fail with a few products. The Vision Pro tech was important regardless because it prepped them for future smartglasses tech and spatial computing. The iPhone Air was important because it prepared them to make a really thin device again so they could make the Fold/Ultra. Their experience making the Ultra will prep them for future products, too.They didn’t know what they’re doing when they greenlighted the Vision Pro or iPhone Air based on sales. Will the iPhone Ultra make it a post-Covid Apple product failure trio? We’ll see.
Apple's big failure during this period was to fall so far behind on AI and Siri, which they are now correcting.
