You can buy a brand new SIM free 32GB iPhone 6s from Apple for $549 + sales tax = about $585.

I wanted to sell this off and then opt for a new other one .

I understand, I am just saying for $585 someone could buy a brand new 32GB iPhone 6s directly from Apple with full warranty and twice the storage of your device. Given that, your used 16GB device is going to sell for quite a bit less than $585.I wanted to sell this off and then opt for a new other one .

Was it purchased on the Apple iPhone Upgrade Program?Yeah... That is the reason why I dont want this to be happen. Can you guide me to upgrade by returning this to Apple and buy a new one from him?
If it is not financed through Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program, Apple would not take it back. They would give someone an Apple gift card for it as a trade in, but it would be for less money than it could be sold for.No I guess
OP - Your best bet is too sell it in India as it's not locked and buy a new phone from an Indian dealer. This whole buying it from another country business is too much of hassle when you don't know what you're doing. 6S is still a solid device anyway. Why do you want to sell it?! Plus, you can't "upgrade" if you're not on a plan to begin with.
