I've always been a big fan of Angry Birds. I like how that keep adding levels without charging.

That being said, I really get annoyed with those who charge more for the ipad version. When the ipad first came out, a lot of developers took advantage and charged $5 for an iphone game that is only $1. I'm not one to tell anyone how to run their business, but does it really cost them that much to make the game with higher graphics? I could maybe see charging another $1 to upgrade to the ipad version, but come on.

If I were a game developer I would make my apps all universal, people catch on and become more loyal when they don't feel like you are taking advantage.
I agree. Between the lack of syncing, the lack of a universal app and the in app purchases I think I'm skipping this one.

We just picked up Choco Loco, and if you dig on AB, it has the same sort of play mechanics. It’s a Top 20 app, $0.99, great character design, physics, looks _amazing_ on the iPadTG (looks excellent on a 1st gen too).

It gets thumbs up from my 4 years old :)

I understand, in that it is extra effort.
And mobile apps survive based on quantity sales, and fewer, more exclusive people own iPads.

But throw us a bone, and sure .99 iPhone app. But whatever premium you charge for the iPad version, show that you are dimwitted and at least semiconcious of the iOS market and make the HD one universal, support device syncing, and acheivement syncing!
