Yes, this has been working great for me. The actual AT&T log-in page is a little slow to respond when you want to zoom in to type in the login info, but I think that's just due to the graphics on the page. Once you get past that first screen everything acts 100% normal. If you want, it seems that you can turn off UAfaker once you log in and continue browsing in regular iphone mode...

Oh, yes, I agree. But, for me actual AT&T log-in page is very slow, it hops back and forth between the username and password fields and makes my accidentally type in the wrong one all the time, making it take so much longer. And then, if I put the iPhone in my pocket, I get disconnected and have to do the whole thing all over again.

Looks like they fixed it...

I was able to login at a starbucks that I couldn't login at before and I didn't have to use useragent faker.

I've been having this problem again. Its only happening when I login once just fine and then get disconnected. When I try to logon again, it wouldn't let me click through to the "Not a qualified AT&T customer"

Im in the same shoes....my laptop is fine when i use it at sb but now my iphone 3g just goes blank with the loading sign on it when i open safari. For a few months now, on my 2g iphone that I had, on 2.2.1 it would go to att page and make you get past an iphone user page where ud enter your att #. But 4 months ago or so I had no trouble, it go right to the login page for all ATT customers, i have an account with starbucks but its pointless on iphone for now.

Yea, I was having the problem that it wouldn't work at all from about mid-April to early-May, but it then started working fine again. Now, I can login fine once, but after it disconnects once, I can't get back in over the same network.

I recently updated to 3.0 (3.0.1 actually), and this seems to not be an issue anymore.
Wi-Fi Auto Login is working for it great it seems

Does anyone know how to utilize the User Agent switcher add-on in Firefox to log-in to get free AT&T wi-fi on my laptop? I tried logging on with iPhone 3.0 as the user agent, but it takes me to logon page asking for a user id and password. I tried my AT&T account login, but it didn't work. What am I doing wrong? By the way, I have an iPhone 3GS.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Wait, what are you trying to do, use your iPhone phone number to login to AT&T WiFi on your laptop?

Well iPhone users get free wi-fi access at AT&T hotspots. What I'm trying to do is to spoof the hotspot thinking I'm using my iPhone, but instead I'm on my laptop using Firefox. Then, I'm prompted with the login screen and I enter my cell number in there and then type in my AT&T (account balance login) password, but it doesn't work. In the past, it just asked me to enter my cell phone number and it would let me connect. Does that seem more clear?
