Everyone has access to GT Advanced sapphire and corning put It side by side with GG3. Apple has a patent for mounting sapphire but no unique material yet. The video shows both materials side by side. GG3 obviously can take more force and flexes... but that doesn't say anything about scratch resistance. Its not just a generic statement when they have comparative objective tests. Do you see a problem with their testing method?

No, but i believe that suppliers and apple can and may choose to develop or use an iteration of the product that is a better fit for their device..It may have to do with the material itself or the way it is applied. What I was reffering to was the fact that the FINAL product (Saphire on the phone and/or watch) is only available for apple to test out..It may have many properties superior to corning's product, and may have others that are inferior to it..Its for apple to make a call on that and definitly not corning that clearly has a vested interest in the entire process.
