my iPhone X seems to have a software/hardware problem, the battery seems to been draining lately. So much as 40% in 5-6 hours of being idle. in the Battery section it says the same for idle/usage. Is there a fix to this? I am running iOS 11.2.2 btw..

I don’t think that means anything, for it would be dependent upon actual conditions and could vary from day to day. As for battery health, I woudnt read too much into the percentage. It’s probably fine. You could check the battery section to see which apps are using the most power. Facebook used to be notorious for running in the background.

For the beginning, make screenshot of the battery usage by apps, check if you turned off background app refresh, check Location services and toogle off frequent locations, if you already didn't.

Sometimes an app freezes in the background. There is an easy fix for that:

- Close All Apps in the Background
- Force restart your iPhone
- Load your battery to 100%

To force restart you have to press the following buttons:
- press volume up
- press volume down
- press and hold the powerbutton until the screen turns off and shows the apple logo

Worked everytime for me when I had this problem.
