iPhone X iPhone X battery life garbage

To all guys that are so happy about "exceptional" X battery life - usage time means nothing 🙂 Show "on screen" time and what apps you were using.
My own experience is that battery of X is at least 30% worse than 8 Plus (and most of all, I'm using my phone for browsing).

30% huh. Completely made up number.

The X has worse battery life than the 8 plus I had. By maybe 2 hours... It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't great either.

not going to lie.. my battery life hasn't been the best. I mainly use my phone to text and instagram. I get around 6 hours of usage with location/background app refresh ect disabled.

same..With data, only 5 hrs + of usage, with wifi, i get around 6hrs + of usage. I guess I just have a mediocre battery on my X.

The iPhone X has, by a WIDE margin, the best battery life I've ever had on an iPhone. And the battery is holding up better over time as well. Probably because I'm not charging it from 0-10% every night—more often around 40% +/- 10%. From what I've read, modern lithium batteries do better when you don't completely drain them every day. It probably also helps that I have better signal strength in my new office—though it did have better reception for the few months I had it at my old job.

forgot to screen shot, had 21 hours of standby and 5 hours and 23 min of usage at 16%, showing nothing using background. 🙁

I consistently only lose 7 to 10% per hour of actual usage. Some days better. Keep my brightness around 60% unless more needed. Much better than my 6s Plus.

Recently traveled withy iPhone X and am extremely disappointed. Always on the verge of dying after only moderate use - whereas my friends with their 8+ cruised through the day. Nearly died on the trip home which would have been a huge inconvenience. Unacceptable. My 6+, 6S+, 7+ never, ever died on me.

Anyone else feel the same way? Plus next time for sure.

By your own admission it did NOT die on you, nor did it cause you an inconvenience. The 8+ also does better in the battery department; well known and documented.

Not sure what your complaint is.
