Most beautiful ringtone I have ever heard. Keeping my fingers crossed I can somehow stream this to the home pod!

Really? An exclusive ring-tone? Don't most people keep their phone on silent anyway.

No, we non-Millenials actually look away from our phones most of the time, and don't think our back pocket makes a perfect substitution for a case.

But I can understand why you think we're all like you. ;)

Ok I downloaded it to my 8+. Called it Reflections because it sounds better. Question is...is my home button going to disappear and will my phone only unlock if I look at it?

Gonna have mine on high volume all the time and just let it ring so all those with the iPhone Poverty 8 can hear what they're missing out on.

I think Apple is just laughing at those of us that purchased the iPhone 8 Plus. Seriously, a dedicated ringtone for the X? All of these little stunts, like removing the middle storage size option etc, are just pissing their customers off. I know my love affair with them is slowly starting to be more than a little tarnished.

If I can’t here it in my pocket, it’s useless. I’ve always used the tone that was in the original commercials but was never available natively on the iPhone. So weird they didn’t include it.

stop the presses......I need that ring tone NOW (sarcasm)

who uses stock ringtones anyway?

Almost everybody. If you own an iPhone, using your own songs as ringtones is far from straightforward.

You could only set songs on alarms from iOS 6. Maybe by iOS 12 civilization will have advanced enough and Apple will have mustered the bravery to give us ringtones, too.

EDIT: Oh, that's next year. Then no chance. Check again in iOS 18.

Also need:
*new tri-tone sound to replace the default notification sound for apps that don’t have their own
*new e-mail sound
*new charging sound

And I’d like a new text message tone too.

Maybe you're unaware, but the iPhone actually has a vibrating motor in it that can alert you to calls and other notifications. No looking at your screen required.

Well, most millennial bashers are markedly more unaware than those they attempt to belittle. It's funny how seniority doesn't beget social grace.

Me.

Old phone??? ☎️ Really? That has to be the single worst ringtone available in the world. It was cool the first 2 times I heard it.

To each their own.

Rip the mp3 from soundcloud and make it a ringtone via garage band. Now blind people will think you have an iphone x!

...Or just buy an iPhone 6, tell the blind person there’s a notch, and they’ll think you have an iPhone X.

Some say most people do; still, others say most people don’t.

It sounds depressing and moody and too serious.

What is your take on the Jack-in-the-Box tune?

Or just click the link in the article and use the original...

NAH! This is 2017! Common core teaches: find the most complicated and ridiculous way to do things and do that way instead! Take the path of MOST resistance…

Apple Watch makes iPhone sounds redundant.
This is absolutely true. I’ve had my phone on silent with vibrate off and my watch set to silent mode as well. The taps never fail to get my attention. Heck, I use that as the alarm now too since the battery life on the S3 is multi-day and it charges in under an hour from dead. Best Apple purchase in a long, long time.

Sheesh. You'd think with all the $ Apple is banking they could afford a bass guitarist. What the hell was that?

Philip Glass, is that you?

IMHO was more Tangerine Dream-ish than Phillip Glass. Philip Glass has a more modern suspenseful cadence.

IMO its a bit of a let down considering how futuristic the wireless charging tone sounds. I thought it would set the path for new iOS sound elements.
