This worked fine for me. These are the sunglasses I've tried them with:

I must have missed the part where the OP was asking for help with an iPhone issue.

I missed the part where you acted with any amount of decorum.....

However I was referring to the help on the forum in general and this thread is a good example

How about people just treat people with respect and be nice? No need for moderation if that's done.

Problem is, that isn't society today. You have a good few minutes before niceties break down to whipping, stone throwing and verbal beat downs. Lol
 
I have owned a forum for 7 yrs now so I have a little knowledge of how they work.

The way certain members get away with murder, beatdowns and rudeness is disgusting.

All that had to be done was ask the OP if they had tried this or that, but no the belittling
and beatdown began.

There is no defense for lack of decorum in a public place.... but I know from experience
that there will be a few rude, holier than thou remarks before the Mods clean up your
mess.

Maybe you should have waited and not upgraded right away.
 
Okay that’s good it works for some people with sunglasses just same it doesn’t for me that’s all. I wear the typical normal rayban wayfarers. Never mind I just unlock with passcode when it fails
 
it happended to me as well but I did not consider it is the hardware issue.

I was asking for some feedback on resolving some of the issues I'm having as it is an user error.
So many sensitive folks on this forum lol.

If i was the only person complaining about a specific issue then thats understandable but many also agree that face ID does not work perfectly all the time.

They specifically said it would work with MOST sunglasses, and only if the lenses don’t block IR rays. Most sunglasses don’t block them, so it was a fair statement.

Face ID works perfectly with both of my sunglasses, which is probably pure luck, as I had no idea whether they blocked IR before this week. Lots of people seem to have trouble with Ray-Bans blocking IR, so if you have those, you might try turning off attention awareness if that’s a big issue for you.

Nope. You never asked for feedback. Stop complaining about problems you create. And then comparing about people complaining about your needless complianing.

Yup thanks I did discover this setting yesterday and turned it off now jobs a gooden thanks though

h 2cents is that a snapchat app issue is a good topic for snapchats forum. apps not being compatible with devices is on app developers.

And that's just it. But nobody wants to take the time to understand how Face ID truly works and how it was made clear that it will conform to your face more so overtime with the machine learning process. But everybody expects it to work instantly and perfectly every single time without error, when in reality, Face ID isn't perfect, just like technology itself.
