Above you can see the tests plain and simple it may be nice, have a nice display and all. But due to various lawsuits against Qualcomm. The iPhone X just doesn't have the best Radio chipset for LTE data it simply fails at being a phone when you need it period.

Yes, because the phone fails unless you have the BEST radio chipset for LTE, but at the same time "a nice display and all" doesn't matter.

Also love the clickbait title. Because, yes, when people read this, I'm sure they'll all want to return their phone. Because of maximum LTE speeds, sure.

No. No. No. OP already said the iPhone X fails as a phone when you need it and that's final. You can tell his statement was the definitive answer on the matter because he also said "Period."

Haha, I wish I could give more than one thumbs up :)

This is weird. Mine is crazy fast.

Returning my X for this very reason. I tested it. Qualcomm was getting 160mbps and Intel was getting 158mbps. Unacceptable. Apple is cheating it's customers.

The linked article is clearly a clickbait article.

In real-world use, the X feels plenty fast on LTE, regardless of which chipset your particular phone has.

Go ahead and make your phone purchase based on this one factor, if you are so obsessed with download benchmarks. I'll be enjoying the heck out of my X.

Always wondered who gets that much data without throttling? I believe in the US, everyone gets throttled after some reasonable amount. Other places around the world that have truly unlimited and can actually take advantage of MAXIMUM speed at ALL times? And what is the use case other than streaming hi-res constantly or for some reason transferring 50gb files back and forth to the internet? This is a real question and not an argument. This makes me wonder about upcoming 5g. If carriers don't ease up the throttle cap, there's no purpose right?

Based on the OPs post history they have about as much credibility as a youtuber.
My X works as intended and serves its purpose for me.

If it’s a deal breaker for you, please do return it! I don’t really care about LTE speeds, so I’m keeping mine.

Funny that my iPhone X speeds on 4G is faster than my broadband..80-90MB and over 100MB at work

My speed tests have been regularly faster than my previous iPhone, which is good enough for me.

Generally my speeds are limited by network congestion anyway, so I never approach the theoretical maximum speeds.

These each to some degree.
Have had both AT&T and Qualcomm phones in house. Still on AT&T service with new simfree iPX.

AT&T launch day iPX not great on cell phone communication so switched to wifi calling exclusively in house and therefor have not compared in-house LTE call quality on simfree phone received 12/7. Outside on LTE, simfree works great for me. I will have to remember to ask the other party next time.

Congestion rules LTE speedtest. While the simfree phone may be getting somewhat better results generally, the most noteworthy difference is in time of day. 3 a.m. 16Mbps on sofa. 8 a.m.; but through workday and evening, measures 5-8 Mbps on sofa.

Of course, We are not using LTE in house, using WiFi and that is measuring 119 Mbps on 5g on Spectrum per simfree iPX speedtest.
