I have an iPhone 8 Plus and plan on getting the iPhone X when it releases... if I can get my hands on one.

That said, I honestly don’t care at this point because the iPhone 8 Plus is such great phone. I’m not gonna trash one or the other.

I honestly can’t understand iPhone fans trashing another iPhone. I’m tired of reading people say the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are inferior to the X and that the X is the only iPhone to buy blah blah...

Then you have iPhone 8 owners on top of that trashing the X ... I mean WTH people... they’re both iPhones for crying out loud... who cares as long as everyone here gets an iPhone... I mean seriously. If you wanna be honest the iPhone 8 is probably gonna have the best benchmarks out of them and the X will probably have the better camera out of all of them.

Wow just when I thought I'd seen it all. It is pretty obvious that those who aren't getting the X are the ones trashing it. I firmly believe Apple will deliver Xs on the 3rd, and then all the folks who are saying all this negative stuff will disappear. Or come back with more of the + screen is bigger.

I’m trashing on it and I’m getting one. Not sure if I’ll keep it or not. I honestly hope it fails because it would only make Apple release better products if it does. I am going to give it a chance though.

Sorry man... but I can't deny I will laugh and laugh till the cows come home at the people who did nothing but bash the 8 saying it's an inferior phone, outdated, etc etc and then go out and buy one because their X is delayed.

You know it's gonna happen.

Oh boy do I know. I'll have to buy an 8 which in my very personal opinion holds an old design if I don't get the chance to have an X on release day, but only because right now I have no iPhone to wait with.

Everything you say is so right! We are all Apple fans here, some like the X, some like the 8+ (I love the design) and some like the 8. But we all share a common love for the stability of iOS.

Reality is, most who pre-order and do so in a timely manner, have a higher opportunity to receive the iPhone X sooner than later. I still think it's an advantage Apple is only producing two model iPhones . So there should be a higher chance of somebody wanting that specific model of receiving it, assuming stock is sufficient and proactive In preordering quickly.

I also remember the KGI report that 12 million devices will be ready to go by the end of October. With 13m being the weekend preorder record for iPhone, I’m not overly concerned since I’ll be ordering at 3am 10/27.

I bet you're thrilled to be spreading this around, but it's really no different than any other year. iPhone's are typically sold out within a couple hours. I think the 8 is the only one that wasn't (due to the X). It's no different this year and won't be as big of a deal as you or others want to think. Either way, still worth it to wait worst case. I'd rather keep my 7 Plus and wait for the X than buy anything else right now.

I get your point here, but I think they are saying it's a bit amusing to see people who have been posting all over the site their dislike of the X, start a thread about the X "delay." I guess I just don't really see why they would do it unless they are purposely trying to put down people waiting for the X? I don't know, it is a bit pathetic really.
