iPhone X - Not Getting Notifications

Let me start by saying, I actually love my iPhone X. I was worried about the size like many people but ater using it for a few days and then using my wifes 8+ last night.. Its incredible how much easier the size is to someone with smaller hands.....

That said, I feel like I am missed quite a few notifications. Mainly at night... So two nights in a row, I got texts that did not show up on my home screen like normal in the morning, I only discovered them when going into my texts and it shows that I had a new message from so and so at 5:31am..etc. Anyone having similar experience?

I had the same issue with texts as well. I just rebooted after I toggled the “allow notifications” in iMessage off and then on. Seems like it fixed it. Not sure how it got messed up before.

That actually happened to me too this morning. Face ID required me to put my passcode in and then when I got into my phone, a few messages and some other notifications had come through from the night before. I also had notifications in other apps that never even showed on the lock screen. The only reason I knew I had them was because of the red badge on the app icon.

I’m receiving all notifications except CNN. Tried everything (deleted app) reinstalled, rebooted. Still no CNN notifications.

I have been seeing this a little bit. If I get texts during the night, they dont show on the lockscreen when I wake up. Tapped my phone screen this morning and just saw a notification from snapchat, unlocked my iphone X and saw a bunch of texts..... any ideas?

That's a CNN app issue. It received an update overnight.

I am not having issues. However, a friend of mine did. He did a restore from his previous phone. He ended up doing a reset of all the settings only (I know pain in the neck), but it seemed to fix any weird issues he was having.

It seems to be a bug. Turn off show in history under settings, notifications, mail, for each mail account. That at least allows mail to show up and stay on the notification screen.
