I prefer in ear!Bose QuietComfort 35 II are all the bluetooth headphones you ever need. Apparently best noise cancelling tech in the industry!
I don't like headphones that go over the head!

The flashlight thing is the main reason I disabled it. It’s impossible to look for things in the dark when the bright screen is shining right in your face.
And yes, auto-brightness is on. I think the problem is that I often use the flashlight to look in dark places in an otherwise lit room. Like behind computer racks, under desks, etc. Not at night, in other words.
Face ID rocks. Those who complain are those who haven’t used it on the Face ID themselves.

I'm onboard with your feelings that the iPhone X screen isn't that much better than the iPhone 8 screen. At the end of the day, I realize that I'm happy with the iPhone 8's form factor, and I don't need to upgrade to a different look and feel.
Any one in the san diego area wanting to buy an iphone x? lol
Gee, as if you haven’t made that clear in your post history. Thanks for sharing.I don’t like Touch ID.
iPhone X screen is vastly superior to the 8 screen.
What?Technically it is better but it's superiority isn't very relevant in everyday use. The 8 is fine.

The difference between the X screen and the 8 is only the higher brightness for the X and deep blacks compared to the 8. The rest of the screen, colour profile and sharpness are exactly the same.I'm sorry but there is a noticeable difference side by side screen wise between LCD and OLED. Don't think it's that close really. The brightness is clear.

Considering the OP has an X your statement is incorrect.
You can't notice that on a 4.7 screen.Sharpness is poor on the 8
It’s a 720p screen and it shows.
Of all the issues involving of FaceID, I've never heard this oneI'd be worried about unlocking the phone with face id accidentally , I prefer the actual touch Id as you know you've unlocked it
I'm rather forgetful so it'd be a nightmare lol - i might have adhd ?? no idea
Of course you can. Looking at the screen on the iphone 7/8 compared to other top flagships the difference is quite bigYou can't notice that on a 4.7 screen.
If you are comparing side by side while looking very CLOSELY to the screen, yes you can, otherwise you can't.Of course you can. Looking at the screen on the iphone 7/8 compared to other top flagships the difference is quite big
