Did you get an email confirmation? I didn’t, but the app said the order went through. When I check my order history it says I have no orders. Ugh!

I totally missed a chance to select in-store pickup option at the end and realized it while touchID was already processing.... saw that green Nov 3. sign and... *sigh*
My estimated shipping is Nov 10-17, silver 256GB, T-Mo with iUP.

I couldn't get in to the Apple.com website until 2:13am CDT and then my order was 2-3 back ordered. The app wasn't up for me until about 2:30am CDT

MacRumors Forum was down-generating database errors. Had to wait 45 minutes to read comments!

Upgrade complete. I think. Delivery got bumped to a week later due to website slow response. Still have not received confirmation email. App and site do acknowledge receipt of order.

Used the app and got the dumb reservation number alert since they couldn’t connect with my carrier. I was trying to get two phones so I backed out and used the other number and same thing. Two reservation numbers. Then went to the Apple site and got 2-3 weeks on the space grey and 5-6 weeks on the silver. Wondering if I get the email for the two first reservations with the launch date pick ups will be available. Not sure if ordering phones on the same numbers screws up the system. I’m not worried either way. It’s not like I’m stuck with a rotary phone. Haha. As long as the phones get here before my wife gives birth.

The Apple Store app was non-functional and the online Apple Store website was still just as useless to me a few minutes after 3 am EST. But thanks to macrumors.com, when I clicked on the link to Apple's online store listed in this article, I was able to efficiently if not effortlessly place my order within minutes (@3:15 am EST) for the 256 GB iPhone X with Apple Care with an estimated delivery range listed of Nov 17 - 24 consistent with a previous screen indicating it "Ships: 2-3 weeks".

Pretty much the same thing here. At 12:00am on the ATT site got in "line" with 4 min wait. Once it got to 0, site crashed. Ugh. Apple Store in browser and on iPad was not coming up. Finally got in but by then (around 12:10am) time had slipped to 2-3 weeks. Oh well, something to look forward to in a few weeks as opposed to just getting it right away and then life back to normal the day after.

Congrats to those that got it. I’m still bummed. The Apple Store app didn’t come up until 3:11EDT for me and by then it was too late: ships 2-3 weeks. Oh well, those that wait until tomorrow or the day after may see “delivers in 4-6 months”!

No pickup or reserve option in Toronto, Canada. By the time I was actually able to order, shipping was already at 2-3 weeks.

Will wait until November 3 and see if they become available to reserve in store and get one, then cancel the order.

Mine didn’t go live until about 1203 pdt.
Had one in the cart, Apple Pay (with a newly added card, verified etc etc) ready for store pickup next Friday locally. Awesome.

Then disaster. Issue with card (not credit limit, that is fine) stopped transaction.
By the time I corrected it a couple minutes later (email address of phone number I guess?) 2-3 week shipping.

No thanks...decided that if it wasn’t coming next Friday or whatever day for in store pickup, don’t want to be at mercy of shipping times. Many times items have popped in the retail store long before available shipping (AirPods). This is likely different, but oh well.

Will take my chances, as slim as they are, with in store pickup in the weeks ahead.

Took me over 12 minutes to get into the app to order it with the upgrade program pre approved and by the time I did Nov 3 was no longer an option. So I chose to ship it, I don't even remember the shipping dates, maybe Nov 7-14? Then I did my wifes and realized that I could still pick it up in store Nov 3 so chose that for hers. Unfortunately there was no way for me to go in and change my shipping to pick up in store.

Launched the app at 2:00 CDT and nothing. Went to the website. Nothing. Cleared cache. Nothing. Different browser. Nothing. Wash, rinse, repeat until 2:05. Got mine ordered for Nov 3 delivery. 2:08 and it had already slipped to 2-3 weeks but seems to be holding steady at that. So frustrating to get up in the middle of the night though only to have neither the app (running on an iPhone 7, iOS 11) or the website work for a substantial amount of time. Surely Apple can work this out.

OK. I was able to get thru, via Apple Store app, by about 1:06-08 a.m. MST.
My "Favorited" iPhone X, 256, Space Grey, AT&T (for some unknown reason) was not set up to be a new iUP account (as I had designated as recent as yesterday), indicating I could add Apple Care. Add Apple Care?!? It's bundled with iUP. Uh-oh...

So I backed out, started from scratch, and made it thru to the carrier confirmation page. After about 30-seconds, I received a message indicating Apple was unable to reach the carrier systems to process my order, "but we have reserved an iPhone for you." It continues that I will be receiving an email when it's time to process my order, that will include instructions to complete my order and a return link. I have 24 hours to respond or my order will be cancelled. They gave me an url to check status - which, of course, I immediately did. The only new info there was it listed my actual email address - that I will be checking like a mad man.

So now I wonder if my delivery date will reflect the time stamp from when the reservation was granted or not until I complete my order per pending email.
Regardless, it appears I at least have an iPhone X coming at some point down the road. #neat

Good luck, all!

It was a funny time at my office. The Apple Store-app wouldn't load, but the Apple.com/no website loaded for me instantly. I managed to place two separate orders, one 256GB Black and one 256GB Silver one for me and one for my fiancee both with 03. Nov delivery. Then I managed to place one 256GB Black for a college, then another 256GB Black for another college both with delivery 03. Nov!

Completed pre-approval for upgrade earlier this week.

Tonight: iPhone app would not load until 12:05. Website would not load. Then website up -- told me to use app. Completion of order in a few secs. Said I would get an e-mail. App tells me upgrade is pending; website says my orders cannot be delayed.

Weak.

21-28 November for me. Order placed at :06 because the app was offline before.

Only question: I got the mail, I see the order on the iPad and iPhone apps, but if I check on the website I cannot see any order (also the previous one) and if I search the order number I get an error with "try later". Is it normal?!

All carriers are in the 4-5 weeks now.

As soon as I could get in at 3 after the t-mobile was already nov 10-17. Most probably went that route cause no carrier verification.

Sprint held out the longest at Nov 3 because well sprint...

Nerve wracking pain in the ass.

Based on other launches I was focused on trying to order with the apps. Finally at 3-4 minutes past the hour (after Macrumors claimed it was up on the app store) I tried browser on my Mac and it started the order process.

Had to re-enter all information.... then, got to payment and got denied Citizen's First with some mealy mouthed crap about getting an explanation within 24-48 hours of why they rejected it. P.S. Citizen's First, I have an 800+ credit score and have never been denied credit in my life, won't be doing business with you again.

By the time I got through the order process with AT&T next order had already slipped out to 2-3 weeks from launch. Now I have to debate lining up hours in advance at a local store for a slim shot of getting one on launch day.

UGH.

Whoop! My app store came up at about 2:01:30 cst. Oddly my wifes phone did not get in until I was halfway through ordering the second phone. My buddy had issues getting in for over 10mins. Odd how that is? But I was able to get 2 silvers in back to back buys. Good luck to everyone!
