90%, bought it after the new year. Real heavy usage, very seldom turn it off. Largely wireless charging.
EDIT I checked with CoconutBattery and it says 93 %. Don't know how relevant that program is.

iPhone X, arrived last December 5th I believe. Coconut battery 96.7%, ‘Battery’ in iPhone settings, 100%. It’s holding up well. I use an iPad for most things though.

Cheers, Azy

Just a heads up that mine dropped down to 87% so I took it into Apple and they ended up replacing the battery for free.

I bought it on launch day, very heavy user and it days 87%. Could it be I let my phone die and don’t charge it throught the day but only at night?[/QUOTE

Got my X Dec 08 2018 and it says 87% I charge it overnight, is it bad?

got mine at launch on like Oct 2nd last year and it was 99% up until like 3 weeks ago. Dropped to 97% within a few days and that's currently where it is.

Not sure how you people got your iPhone X’s in October when it was released beginning of November last year but whatever.

Mine from launch is at 95% now, the first 7-8 months I think it showed 100% then started going down. 5 watt wireless charger since the beginning, not a very heavy user.

Probably the use of the fast charger that caused mine to degrade so much.
This is correct, more or less. A lot of charging threads on the net have two theories.

1. Fast charging causes faster battery degradation due to voltage and heat.
2. More cycles.

Though from what I've observed over the last year, wireless charging and or charging with the lowest wattage charger available for the phone allows the battery health to remain higher, regardless of heavy or light use.

I’ve been mostly using my wireless charger with my Xs max that I got in September and I’ve only used the fast charger a few times. My battery capacity is still at 100%.

And the charger in the box is, what, 5 watts or something close to that? I can see the benefit of a fast charger, but my charging habits for the last couple of decades has always been when I'm about to go to bed. Heavy users who reach for the fast charger may benefit from the battery pack cases.

Fast charge introduces more heat as a result of more watts flowing in. People want fast charging, but it comes at a price. Qi 1.2 supports up to 15 watts, but I've only seen 5 watt models most of the time. Though I'm curious how the use of a 15 watt 1.2 charger over 365 differs from a 15 watt plugin charger.

I think so. Last year I was mostly using my 61 W charger and after 10 months it was down to 88%.
What does 61 watts? MBP? The info on my chargers have been rubbed off over time.

I am at 90%, bought it in store on launch day. Mostly overnight charging with iPad charger or 5w brick. Some wireless charging the first few months.

I got mine the first week of December 2017, and it was down to 87% by November 2018. 90% of its charging was done with Qi 5W. Every once in a while I would top it off during the day with a 12W or 30W Apple charger.

I got it replaced since I plan on keeping the X at least until this year’s models release.

Got mine in January of 2018, and the battery health is still at 93%. I usually use the iPad charger to charge my phone at night.
