Hi guys.
Have an issue with my X which I’m really enjoying btw. Every time I get a call. There is a delay before the phone displays the call. Sometimes it’s after 3-4 rings sometimes I lose the call. Anyone else experiencing this ?

Thanks in advance

Have you found any solutions yet? I’m going through the same issue. I was just about to post the same problem when I saw your post.

Has anyone sorted this problem out yet?

Its been 3 months and i'm giving up. i've tried everything. it shouldnt be like this. its too frustrating.

I’m still getting the delays. I swapped my silver for a black it is still happening less often but still going on

Exactly the same issue here!

Have tried the following things and none have worked so far on 3rd day onwards
  • Updating via wifi and iTunes
  • Hard Reset
  • Switched Off and On
  • Resetting to Factory Settings
  • Using the Phone as a new phone after update and even used a backup
  • Updated carrier settings
  • changed the SIM card
  • Used the phone without Case and without Screen Guard.
The only thing left to do now is probably throwing it against the wall and see if it works any better.

Not experienced this yet on my phone. Yesterday I phoned it from my landline and there was a slight delay (1 second) between its ringing and the display lighting up.

If people really have tried everything I can only suggest returning it - a shame because the X is otherwise a great phone.

If it were a bug in iOS then won't all iPhone X be affected? I do not have the issue in with my X. I have even been testing it to check and the first ring triggers the answer screen.

If my phone was doing that I would take it back. The issue is unacceptable.

Just curious - I wonder if it could be a carrier issue? Just grasping here. I have Sprint.

You can solve that with iOS 11.3 beta.
Install this iOS beta profile: bit.ly/2n7vfLi, and after the restart download the new update.

I'm on iOS 11.4 and iPhone 8 but problem still persists, even this morning I ran into it.

Anyone else who has faced this problem on iOS 11.4 and was able to solve it?

Thanks for the help already!
