A little help please

I can’t seem to search through my settings app for items that are buried in the settings menu.
I have attached 3 pictures to show you what I mean. I am only able to find the apps but no setting. For example the reset settings do not appear when I search for reset.

Anyone know what to do ?

Apple has NEVER referred to restoring the device as "reset", "factory reset" or anything along those lines. You're searching for the wrong item and consequently not finding it.

What you want is "Erase All Contents and Settings".

Hey.

It literally won’t find anything in the settings sub menus. Reset was just an example. I have tried tons of others.

Thanks for replying though. Any other ideas ? Lol

No, no other ideas. Sorry.

Just assumed it wasn't showing anything because the search term was wrong.

well well well

we have an update. its working now. heres what i did

- go to the "siri and search" setting
- find "settings"
- turn it off
- restart your phone
- go back and turn the setting on
- wait for it to work again

i imagine, it forces it to rebuild the index

Super helpful discovery. I didn't know search in settings was even possible because it never worked for me. How did you come across this solution? You didn't actually trial and error this?
